I led Valora into the den and we sat down on the bright red couch
“So tell me about your self” she said crosing her legs
I moved my hair out of my face and though about what to say
“Im a senior and an outcast at school. I get straight A’s. Im going to be 18 in 5 months and I hate school” I said smiling
She laughed and shook her hair out of her face
“You?” I asked
She tapped her chin thinking of what to say
“Im a junior and I know everyone at school. I get ok grades just enough so I can play sports. Im going to be 17 in 3 months and I like being social” she said
I nodded
“What’s you favorite color?” she asked
I shrugged
“Black. Yours?” I asked
She laughed
“Pink. Your favorite food?” she asked
I liked this 20 questions
“I love italian food with a passion. You?” I asked
she made an eww face
“I love chineese” she said
I shook my head
“Have you ever kissed a girl?” she asked
I looked at her with raised eyebrows
“Which part of outcast can answer that question” I said
she smiled
“Hey you could have done it before you were an outcast” she said smiling
I shook my head
“Nope.” I said
She smiled wide for a moment then she got closer
“I could change that” she said softly
I felt my heart speed up more as she moved closer. I watched as she closed her eyes and pressed her lips to mine softly. I sat stiff for a moment but I couldn’t help but move my lips with hers. She was so soft and warm
“Now you have” she said against my lips
She pulled back and bit her lip. I took a deep breath and felt my lips they were all tingly
“Ok we have something else to tell you both” my mother walked in see both of our faces
I gulped and nodded
“Valora is moving in on Tuesday” she said
Valora looked taken back by the news and stood up automatically
“Excuse me Kai” she said before leaving the den
I bit my lip. I stood up and left the den I could hear Valora speaking to her parents
“You won’t even let me have boys in the house now you making me come live with him?” she asked angrily
Her father had a strained look on his face. And her mother was giving me a sad look
“Im gonna go. It was nice meeting all of you” I said before leaving the room
