Sneak peak.
So...a vanilla latte right?" Nick asked me. I nodded my head.
"Of course....how long have you known me babe?" I asked. I always got a vanilla latte when we went to the coffee shop.
"Hey...I just thought maybe you wanted to switch it up a bit. Excuse me," Nick sarcastically replied. I shook my head and smirked.
Nick ordered our usual choices and led us to our usual spot next to the window. It was the exact same spot we met, around the same time. I laughed because still....all these years later...nothing has changed.
We went over our schedules and the latest news involving each other. It was a typical early April morning...nothing too different.
