Your Love Is My Drug

“I can’t believe we’ve been here two weeks already” Leah pointed out as we just lay out on the grass somewhat near the lake.

We had been told it would be the last few days till it got too cold to stay out for long so Leah and I were taking advantage of it.

I laughed; “So how many boys have you charmed already?” I asked her smirking.

She laughed; “A few, now what about you and Diggory?” she asked.

I shrugged, “Nothing serious” I admitted.

“Oh really? Rumor has it you two are a couple” she pointed out.

“No, nothing serious; I don’t like him that much. I mean its fun to snog him but that’s it” I told
her using the English slang that I had picked up over my time here so far.

She started laughing hysterically, “Oh that poor lad, I’m sure he’s fallen for you” she pointed out.

I groaned, “Don’t tell me that” I whined.

“Why not? It’s the truth” Leah reminded me.

I smacked her before getting up, “You are a cruel person” I hissed.

Leah just laughed; “Oh, here comes lover boy. I’ll see you in the common room” she winked at me as she stood up.

I quickly looked around, desperate to find someone that would keep me away from Cedric. I grinned seeing Harry and Neville near the edge of the lake. I stood up from my sunbathing and noticed that Cedric was being stopped by a few of his friends giving me the chance to hurry over to Harry. The second I got to Harry’s side I latched on to his arm as if we were a couple.

Causing to get a strange look from Neville and Harry somewhat blush.

“I need a giant favor” I admitted.

He nodded; “What is it?” he asked confused as I noticed Cedric walking towards us.

“Snog me” I said simply.

“What?” He asked incredulously.

I gave him a begging look as Cedric got closer, “Please?” I asked quickly.

Harry just looked at me for a second before nodding and leaning towards me as I closed the gap between us.

We were like that for a few minutes, tongues in each other’s mouth as I felt his hands on my waist as he pulled me closer till we heard someone clear their throat. I slowly pulled away and was relieved as I saw that it was Hermione, Ron and Ginny standing there not Cedric.

“Thanks” I murmured towards Harry.

“I’ll explain later” I promised as Ron muttered something to Hermione who came up to us.

“Ronald would like me to tell you, that Seamus told him that Dean was told by Parvarti that
Hagrid is looking for you” she told him somewhat confused.

I had been staying out of the argument between Harry and Ron, not wanting them to make me pick a side.

After a few minutes they left, leaving Harry somewhat angry.

“Still want me to explain?” I asked softly.

“Sort of, I usually don’t get girls coming up to me and telling me to snog them” he pointed out.

I laughed; “Sorry about that, I know I put you in an awkward place” I admitted.

He chuckled; “Care to explain” he reminded me.

“Cedric was getting a bit too serious for me and he was coming over to us and I need him to get the point that I’m not looking for anything serious with him” I told him.

“So I was just your escape?” he asked.

“I’m sorry, I know it was a bad thing to use you but I was desperate to keep him away” I murmured.

Harry chuckled; “Well now you just owe me” he pointed out.

I smiled; “I owe you big time” I agreed.

He smiled at me; “So I’ll see you around” I told him before kissing his cheek and heading into the castle towards the common room.
