Catsgroom

A few days have passed and Aiden was a mess.
She barely ate, barely spoke, barely even moved
from her bed. Her friends desperately tried to get
her to snap out of it, unfortunately that did nothing.
Even her Proffessors were getting worried, seeing
as how she hardly went to class, and
never turned in any of the homework. Proffessor
Macgonagal has threathened to call her father if she
does not get back on track.
"Love, you need to get out of this room." Valor said
as she sat on Aiden's bed.
Hermione and Valor stayed in the room after
they finished with all their classes for the day.
Hermione, being too smart for her own good, ended up
doing all of Aiden's homework and turning it in
without saying anything.
"Yeah, lets go down to the kitchens and have them
make you that delicious mocha fudge ice cream that you
love so much." Hermione said, hoping that would do the
trick.
Aiden did say anything, nor move and inch.
"Okay, that it! come with me." Valor said, grabbing
Aiden's arm and dragging her out of the common room.
Hermione followed them down the stairs and out
into the halls.
"where are we going?" Hermione asked.
"And what exactly are we going to do?" Aiden asked,
as she let her friend drag her to who knows where.
"We are going to Catsgroom, the town next to Hogsmead,
and we are going to get rid of a certain problem."
Valor said answering both of them.
"Oh great, you both are going to kill me." Aiden
mumbled.

The three girls finally reached the trail to Hogsmead,
when Valor stopped and turned around to explain.
"No we are not going to kill you, we are going
to Catsgroom to see a doctor."
"Oh, so he is the one that is going to kill me."
Hermione couldn't help but
laugh at her friend's sad sense of humor.
"No one is going to kill you, this doctor
specializes in memories. He can alter
your thoughts and replace them with new ones."
"For what?"
"Well if he gets rid of all your memories of
Draco, then you can finally get your
life back on track." Valor said.
"Have you gone mad?!" Hermione asked, wide eyed.
"Trust me! It is the only way, He has found a way
to get into a person's mind and pull out
certain memories and replace them with whatever you want!
So now you can forget about Draco and finally move on."
"Valor, that is why it takes time for
people to move on." Hermione stated.
"Herms, it has been five days since we saw
what they were doing! It is the
beginning of school and she is already failing!" Valor said,
half yelling. Luckily no one was around them to hear.
"I don't think this is such a good idea."
"You weren't there Herms, it was horrible! She
needs to get it out of her head and move on
or she will be stuck in this stump for a
really long time."
"So this doctor, he can remove all the bad memories, I
have with Draco?" Aiden asked.
"He can completely remove the memories, the thoughts and
everything in your head that deals with the prick."

Aiden stood there, trapt in her own thoughts again
as her two friends continued to bicker about
the situation. Aiden thought about how
great it would be to forget about Draco
ever recieving the dark mark, or even
the to forget the visions of Draco
and Sheila being fucken idiots, that has been
haunting her for the past few days.
The downside about it is that she would also have
to forget the good memories, the loving thoughts
that she has had of him for the past two years.
Aiden would have to forget about the guy that
she fell in love with, the one she believed in,
she had to forget everything that she
loved about him. She did not want to
give those memories up of the guy
who has stolen her heart.

"One week Herms! Imagine the pain of seeing
that shit, one week after it all ended." Valor's
voice said, catching Aiden's attention.
After realizing what her friend said, Aiden
drifted back into her thoughts.
If she has to lose the thoughts of the Draco
who broke her heart, she is willing to give up
everything else. To her, although those memories
of their love means everything, it is best to
get rid of it because now the Draco she
sees is not the one she gave her heart too.
She has a chance to finally move on and
live her life, before the sadness of it all
sinks her into a much worse state.

"I want to do it, I want to see the doctor."
Aiden said, making her two friends who almost
forgot she was around, look at her.
"I don't think it is a good idea." Hermione mentioned
sadly.
"I need to do this, because to be honest, I
don't think I can let go on my own." Aiden whispered.

Hermione let out a deep sigh, before looking at the
ground defeated.
Good thing that everyone was busy with other
things that noone saw the girls sneak away into
Hogsmead. From there they have to probably walk half
a mile to reach the doctor in Catsgroom.
"How do you know about this guy anyways?" Hermione asked
and they tried their best to make sure noone sees them.
"He performed the same procedure on my uncle
a few years back, good thing its just near Hogwarts."
Valor answered.
Within forty minutes after leaving Hogwarts, the
girls had finally reached the office of the Doctor.
"Crap it is closed today!" Valor said somewhat angry,
after knocking on the door for two minutes.
"May I help you ladies?" a voice asked from behind,
startling them. There stood a guy about a year older
then them, light brown hair and to Aiden's surprise,
gorgeous sky blue eyes.
"Yes, we are here to see uhh Dr. Launder?" Valor said
slowly as she tried to remember the name.
"Yeah thats me, what can I do you for?" he said with a smile.
"Uhh forgive me but the last time I was here, he
looked like 80 years old or something." valor
said making the guy laugh.
"Well you must be talking about my father,
he passed a year ago, and I took over." the guy said walking up
to the door and opening it.
"Come on in." he told them as he held the door open.
The girls walked in, feeling comfortable with
the guy.
"I'm sorry to hear about your father." Aiden said as she sat
down on one of the chairs.
"Oh its okay, he was happy with his life here, so it makes
me feel better." The young doctor said.
Looking around it seemed to be more of a home,
rather than a doctor's office.
"I'm Alex by the way." he said reaching out his hand to them.
After intoductions, Valor explained Aiden's situation. Aiden
seemed embarrassed to have a stranger know that she couldn't
move on from a bad relationship on her own.
"Trust me, I've been there. Too bad I can't
reach into my own thoughts and replace them." he
said giving a smile.
