Ano Aniani was born 1985 and raised in Hawaii, in the neighborhood of Waikiki, on the island of Oʻahu to a full blooded Hawaiian father, and American mother. Coming from a musical background, she quickly fell in love with music of all kinds. She easily taught herself multiple instruments, all of which she was great at. She was the island's very own prodigy.
She was passionate about her art, and dreamed of doing nothing but music for her life. But, she felt alone with her passion, not knowing anyone of her age group to carry the same love and dreams she did. It wasn't until she was 12 that she met him.

The talented young boy shared much in common with Ano, and soon, they were the best of friends. But, there was more between Ano and Peter than either of them would admit for years, and when they finally did, it was too late. For only weeks after their high school graduation, Peter left for California.

Both of them thought they would never see each other again.
