I was confused.
I thought for sure, we were done.
I wasn't about to be
Second best.

"Listen, it's complicated alright?

He turned towards the door.
His hands balled
Into fists.

"Wait, what? No."
Rage.
He had no right.
He should have told me.

This was too unfair.
"This is too unfair."

I grabbed his arm.
He recoiled
