I'm Suppose to Hate You

Chapter 10.

When I pulled away, I was sure I loved William. I smiled at him and he kissed me again.

“I love you Emily,” William whispered. I smiled at him and ran my hands through his hair.

“I love you too,” I said. I felt good saying that. Then it hit me like a ton of bricks. Pete. He won’t accept this. He’d disown me for sure this time. I can just hear him now.

I can’t believe you’d do this to me!” he would shout.

I shook my head and sighed. I must have been frowning.

“Sweetie, what’s wrong?” William asked. He looked at me with concern.

“Pete,” I mumbled. “William, I can’t,” I whispered, turning away from him. He sighed and pulled me back.

“The three of us will talk tomorrow,” he said.

“How?” I questioned, raising an eyebrow at him. “He won’t come willingly,” I said.

He nodded. “True,” he sighed.

“I really don’t know how,” I said, and he cut me off.

“I’ll take care of it. Just go home and sleep,” he said. He smiled at me. When I blinked, I was in my room, on my bed. Pete was sitting on my window seat. He looked at me.

“What was that about?” Pete questioned.

“Can’t tell you,” I said, thinking of my wall.

“Please?” Pete begged. I shook my head.

“You’ll find out soon enough,” I said. He gave me a questioning look.

“Are you plotting my downfall?” he questioned. I gave a very William laugh.

“Nope. Now get out,” I said. I smiled at him and fell asleep.
