-Fast forward to monday-
I woke up a few minutes before my alarm clock and got up and took a shower. After i showered i looked for clothes, i decided on jeans and a red t-shirt. When i finished getting dressed i went downstairs and had breakfast. After breakfast me and Alex went to school. I walked into homeroom and took my seat next to Jack.
"Hey Renae!" he said
"Hey Jack" i said
"So, you know that dance thursday?" he asked
"Yep" i said
"Wanna go with me?, as like friends of course" he said
"Uhm, yeah sure. But wont Alex hate that" i said
"No, i asked him about it at his locker and he said its fine" he said
"Oh okay cool" i said
The day was pretty long, nothing exciting happened so the day dragged on. After school we went to the mall with Jack and just walked around for a bit before sitting down at a table in the food court.
"No way" Jack said shocked
"What?" Alex said
"Dude Zacks going to the dance with Ava" he said
"No!" Alex said
"Whose Ava?" i asked
"Its his ex girlfriend" Jack said
" Did he say why hes going with her?" Alex said
"He said she asked him or more like begged him and he said sure, but i guess hes regretting it" Jack said
"Typical Ava" Alex said
"Yep" he said
"Why'd they break up?" i asked
"She cheated on him" Alex said
"Wow" i said
---Thursday night---
Its 5:30 and Jack had told me he was coming by at 6. I went up to my room and got dressed, i didnt have a new dress because i saw no point in buying a new one when i have perfectly good ones so im gonna wear one i have. The one i decided on was a strapless dress with floral print on it and a black band around the waist. I put on the dress and black flats and went downstairs to the livingroom and everyone looked at me.
"You look beautiful" my mom said and Steven nodded
"Yeah very nice" Alex said
"Thanks" i said
"Hey people" Jack said walking in i looked over at him and he was wearing a suit and tie minus the jacket
"Hey, you look nice" i said
"You to. Ready to go?" he said
"Yep, i'll see you guys later" i said and we left
We went to the dance and it was really fun, Jack was constantly making me laugh really hard and people would give me crazy looks but i didnt care. A slow song came on and we tryed dancing but failed missrably. A hour into it we still hadn't seen Zack, we saw Rian but no Zack. I took a seat while Jack went to the bathroom and while i was sitting there Zack came over.
"Hey" he said sitting down
"Hey!" i said
"You look pretty" he said
"Thanks you look good to" i said
"Thanks so wheres Jack?" he asked
"Bathroom, wheres your date?. I heard its your ex" i said
"Mhmm, she with her friend she was being obnoxious so i said i'd go get lemonade and come back but obviously i lied" he said and i laughed
"Why'd you come with her if you hate her?" i asked
"She was like bothering me to go with her! i had to shut her up" he said
"Wow" i said
"Zack!" i heard a girl say
"Damn" he said
"You said you were going to get somthing to drink and your over here hitting on some girl!?" she said and i assumed she was Ava
"Im not hitting on her, and it wouldnt matter if i was because were not a couple" he said
"But we should be" she said sitting next to him
"No!, just move on" he said
"Hey Zack, hi girl i hate" Jack said sitting next to me
"Shut it Barakat" Ava said
"Ooh looks like someones PMSing" he said and i laughed
"Who the hell are you?" she said
"Hey im Renae. You must be the moron Zack broke up with" i said
"Whatever, come on Zacky lets dance" she said
"Yeah right, just leave me alone. I dont no why i let you force me to come with you tonight" he said
"Fine!, but i was the best thing you ever had Zack. Just remember that" she said and left
"Finally shes gone!" he said and i laughed
