Step Brother

The rest of the night was really fun, we sat around the fire for a long time just talking. Alex was making up scary stories and trying to scare us but it didnt work since they wernt scary. That night when it was time to go to bed we all slept on the livingroom floor, it was surprisingly comfy. The next morning i woke up and Kelly and Alex were still asleep but beth was gone. I went into the kitchen and everyone was talking.

"Hey" i said

"Hey good morning!" my mom said

"Alex and Kelly still asleep?" Steven asked

"Mhmmm" i said

"I'll go wake them up" Beth said and left the room

"So whats going on today?" i asked sitting at the table

"Grandmas party is tonight so we have to get everything ready, you four will have to go get a cake" my mom said

"What kind?" i asked

"Whatever kind it doesnt matter, just get a normal looking one please. Dont get like a barbie one or one with bright colored frosting" she said

"Awww damn i was really hoping to get a cake with yellow frosting" i said sarcastic

"Mhmm, very cute" she said

Later after we all ate and got ready we left to go buy a a cake, this is gonna be good. It took us a while to get to the bakery since we had Alex drive and Kelly give him directions. Hes never been in this town and she sucks at directions. When we got there we started looking, there was tons of cakes.

"Damn all this food is making me hungry" Kelly said

"Me to" Alex said

"Mhmm, lets just pick out a cake okay?" i said

"Mkay" Alex said

"whats her favorite flavor?" i asked

"No clue" Kelly said

"Get vanilla" Beth said

"Is it her favorite?" i asked

"Dont no, but its yummy" she said

"Mmm yeah" Alex said

We ended up buying a chocolate cake with vanilla frosting. We also brought strawberry ice cream, you cant turn down strawberry ice cream!. We went back to my aunts house and my mom and aunt were setting up for the party. We decided to go to Kellys room to get out of the way, and because we were really no help. Later on we heard people start to arrive so we went downstairs. We walked into the livingroom and saw lots of people.

"Oh wow lots of people" i said

"Mhmm" Alex said

"Hey Renae!" my grandmas friend Elaine said coming over to us

"Hi" i said

"Whose this?" she asked me

"Its my step brother Alex" i said

"Oh your Alex!, well arnt you handsome" she said looking Alex up and down

"Thanks" Alex said awkward

"Well its nice meeting you Alex, and it was nice seeing you Renae. Im gonna go mingle some more. See you guys around" she said

"Bye" we said and she walked away

"Oh man she was so hitting on you" Beth said

"Totally" i said

"Ewww why do old people love me so much?!" Alex whinned

"Who knows" i said

A little while later my grandma arrived and the party started, it was fun. Everyone was telling funny storys. The party lasted for about 5 or 6 hours. I had so much fun seeing all my cousins and all the family friends. After everyone left that night me, Alex and Kelly went for a walk. Beth was watching a movie with my mom and her mom.

"So that was fun wasnt it?" Kelly said

"Mhmm" i said

"Yeah it was fun, it was very interesting" Alex said

"Thats our family for you. A bunch of crazys" i said

"Deffinetly" he said and his phone beeped and he pulled it out to check it and read the text message and started laughing

"Who the hell is texting you?" i asked

"Jack, he said him and Zack and Rian just got attacked in Zacks backyard by a bunch of crazy raccoons" he said

"Are they okay?" i asked

"Yeah their fine" he said

"Who is Jack, Rian and Zack?" Kelly said

"Me and Alex's friends slash his bandmates" i said

"Ohhh" she said
