So we Fought Like Tomorrow was Promised
The rest of the day was good, me and Zack were conected at the hip. Everyone thought it was cute that we were together, i mean Jack said it was odd we were together but we were still cute. Everyone but Alex was okay with it. He seemed a little annoyed. The next day he didnt talk to me much at all, and when we got to school he just left the parking lot without a word. After school me, Alex and Jack went back home and i decided to confront Alex.
"Okay so whats your problem?" i asked Alex as soon as we got inside
"Nothing?" he said confused
"Your completely avoiding me. Why?" i asked
"Well i dont no, how would you feel if your sibling started dating one of your best friends" he said glaring at me and i was a little taken back
"Your seriously angry about me and Zack dating?" i asked
"No im angry about you dating Jack. Of course im angry about you and Zack!" he said sarcastic
"Man up Alex, like really" i said and he rolled his eyes
"Screw you" he said and went to his room
I didnt see Alex for the next few hours, i had no problem with it though. I was in the livingroom alone since Jack had to leave at three. It was nice being alone for once. At about 6 my mom came home.
"Hey sweetheart" she said
"Hi" i said
"Wheres Alex?" she asked
"In his room cooling down from his hissy fit" i said
"What happened?" she asked
"Hes mad im dating Zack" i said
"Oh. Well you two need to work things out tonight, im having my boss and his wife and daughter over for dinner tonight and i dont need your drama" she said
"What?, tonight isnt that a little i dont no. Soon" i said
"Yeah well hes my new boss i need to make a good impression on him" she said
"Okay" i said
Later that night after everyone was at the house and dinner was finished we all sat down to eat. Everyone but Alex, he was still upstairs. Steven went upstairs to get him. While he was gone i started talking to my moms boss's daughter, she was really nice. A few minutes later Steven came downstairs alone.
"Wheres Alex?" my mom said
"Hes not coming down he said his head hurts" Steven said
"To bad" my moms boss's wife Molly said
"Oh bull, hes not sick hes just mad at me and probably is being to much of a baby to come down" i said
"Oh. Alex get down here. Now!" Steven yelled up the stairs and i could hear footsteps and then Alex appeared in the dinningroom and looked annoyed when he saw the only empty chair was next to me
"Okay if im down here i cant sit next to her" Alex said
"Thats fine, i'll sit there" Steven said and took the seat next to me so Alex didnt have to
Dinner was pretty good, everyone was talking. Alex and me were completely ignoring eachother wich i was fine with. After dinner while we had dessert my phone beeped, i looked at it and i had a text from Zack. I opened it and it said: Love you. I smiled.
"Whose texting you?" my mom asked
"Zack" i said smiling at Alex
"Figures" Alex said
"Your just mad because you dont have someone special that loves you" i said
"Not at all. If i wanted a girlfriend im sure i could get one" Alex said
"Alex and Renae dont start please" my mom said
"Not with that attitude" i said
"Whatever, how about i date Bailey, hmm?. Here give me her number" he said
"No! your not dating my best friend" i said
"Fine then dont date my friend" he said
"Shut up Alex" i said
"I hate you so much right now!" Alex said angry
"Fine by me" i said
"Alex and Renae!, enough. Now both of you just ignore eachother and eat" my mom said
"Fine" i said
"Im not hungry" Alex said and went up to his room
"Im sorry about all this, i dont know what their deal is today" my mom said apologizing to his boss and his family all while glaring at me
"Its fine it happens" her boss said
The rest of the dinner my mom didnt say a single word to me and didnt look at me, i knew she was pissed. After dinner i said goodnight to my moms boss and his family and goodnight to Steven and went straight to my room. I got on my laptop and started a video chat with Bailey, a few minutes later she accepted.
"Hey bestie whats up?!" she said
"I got into a fight with Alex and then my mom got mad at me" i sighed
"What happened?" she asked
"Well, i started dating Alex's friend Zack and-" i started but she cut me off
"Your dating someone?!, yay!" she said
"Yeah its awesome. Anyways, Alex got all pissed about it and we've been fighting all day. And my moms new boss came over for dinner with his family and me and Alex fought. And after Alex left the room my mom just ignored me the rest of the time i was downstairs, it was horrible" i said
"Wowww that sucks" she said
"Yep" i said and i heard the door open and Alex walked in
"Hey" Alex said
"Go away Alex" i said
"I will but i heard you talking to Bailey and i just needed to come in and talk to her" he said
"Why?" i asked
"Because i wanna ask her somthing. So Bailey?" Alex said
"Hmm?" she said
"I was wondering, wanna go out sometime?" Alex said
"Alex!" i screamed
"Uhmm, well. Sure" Bailey said
"Bailey!" i said
"Sweet, friday at 7 good for you?" he asked
"Sure" Bailey said
"Cool i'll pick you up then" he said smiling at me
"Okay" she said and he nodded
"There, now were even" he said glaring at me and left
"I cant believe him!" i said
"It wont be so bad, you dont need to worry about anything i'd never date him" Bailey said
"You wouldnt?" i asked
"No way hes your brother that'd be weird" she said

"Mhmmm, plus that friend of his Jack is pretty damn cute" she said

"Mhmmm, now lets talk about this Zack kid" she said
