Step Brother

The rest of the breakfast i stayed quiet, i was really annoyed with everyone at that point. After breakfast we headed home and i went straight to my room and called Bailey. After a few rings she picked up.

"Hello?" she said

"Bailey?!, its Renae. We need to talk!" i said

"About?" she asked

"My dad" i said

"What?!. Okay what happened!?" she asked

"You know how i told you i saw my dads side of the family?. Well this morning he and my grandma joined us for breakfast and he basically asked if i wanted to go stay with him over the summer" i said

"Seriously?" she asked

"Yes!. I obviously said no because i barely know the man!" i said

"Well duhh you said no, you never spoke nicely of him. I doubt you'd agree to living with him for a summer" she said

"Yeah, right!?" i said

"How does your mom feel about the whole thing?" she asked

"Im not sure, she says its up to me but obviously im not going" i said and heard a knock at the door but ignored it

"Well good!, because i wanted you to spend some of the summer with me and if you went with him who knows if i'd see you!" she said

"I know! i wanna spend a month with you like we talked about!" i said

"Damn straight you do!, and its happening!" she said and someone knocked on the door louder this time

"Hold on Bailey, someones at my door" i said annoyed

"Alright" she said

"What!?" i yelled

"Can me and Jack come in?" Alex asked

"Why?" i asked

"Because we wanna cheer you up!" he said

"Im on the phone so can that wait?" i asked

"I guess. We'll be out here!" he said and i heard them make themselves comfortable outside my room

"Sorry about that, it was just Jack and Alex" i said

"What did they want?" she asked

"They just wanted to cheer me up but i said it had to wait until i was finished with our conversation" i said

"Aww how sweet, they care about you!" she said

"Yeah" i said

"Well i need to get going, i need to get ready for a picnic. So go hang with them and have fun!" she said

"Alright. I'll talk to you later" i said

"Bye lovely" she said and i laughed before hanging up. I went over to my door and opened it and looked in the hall to see Alex and Jack sitting against the wall

"So, you guys wanted to cheer me up?" i asked and they looked at each other mischievously

A half hour later we were at a go-cart track. Their idea of cheering me up was basically having me drive as aggressively as possible, i think this is just what i need. We walked through the gate and saw Rian and Zack waiting for us.

"Took you guys long enough!" Rian said

"Shut up!. There was traffic" Alex said

"Zack!" i said running over to him to give him a big hug and he kissed the top of my head

"You excited!?" he asked

"Yes!, i cant wait to bash into Alex" i said and Alexs eyes went wide

"Hell no!, you will stay away from me!" he said and Rian started laughing

"Oh boy, i cant wait to see this!" Rian said and gave me a high five

We all got in our separate cars, i was gonna ride with Zack but decided not to since i wanted to be able to do whatever the hell i felt like. We watched the screen do a little countdown and i was so excited, this was the best idea they could come up with. Once the countdown hit one we were off and immediately headed towards Alex and hit one of his tires and he freaked out.

"Renae!, what the hell!" he said gaining control of his go cart

"Thats how this whole thing works Alex" i said

"No its not!" he said

"Quit being a damn baby" Rian yelled to Alex

"Screw you!" Alex said and hit me in the side and i spun a little

"Hey! im a girl, be nice" i said and he rolled his eyes

"No!" he said

"Gaskarth, be nice to my girl" Zack said bashing into Alex

"Shes my sister!. And why is everyone ganging up on me!?" Alex said

"Im not!" Jack said and i laughed

We continued the go cart race and it was awesome, Rian won the first time and we decided to go for a few more rounds. After a while i gave up and decided to sit out, Zack decided to join me.

"Having fun?" Zack asked me

"Yes, so much fun!" i said

"Good, im glad" he said kissing me

"It feels so good to be able to take my anger out" i said

"I can tell, you were having a blast bashing into Alex" he said

"Well its fun" i said

"Yes it is" he said

"Mhm" i said and my phone rang and i looked to see my dad was calling me, i hit ignore right away

"Who was that?" he asked me

"Nobody" i said leaning into his side as we watched Jack try to push Rian through the barriers
