"Maybe it's something to do with her family?" Max suggests, staring down into his coffee.
"Maybe," Collin sighs, leaning his head against the window. "But she said she didn't have any family."
"Yeah, well," William scuffs. "She's said a lot of things." Collin closes his eyes, trying very hard not to let go of what he knew. But she's disappearing and he can't make it stop. "Maybe she's just too ashamed of whatever happened to let you know."
"I don't know why," he breathes. "I mean it's been four years! Why would she keep something like that..."
"Not everyone is who you think," Max tries.
"Oh don't give me that shit talk," Collin sits up. "It can't be that."

and I misuse so many words. I don't mean to, I know when I'm writing it I know what words I mean to use but I just get ahead of myself typing...
