"You just don't seem to care." He stated with somewhat of a hurt look in his eyes.
"I care about the important things." I replied after a brief pause, trying to curl my lips into a comforting smile.
He pushed himself off the hood of his car and stepped towards me.
"What's your definition of important?"
He was testing me, I could sense it in the way his right eyebrow quirked and his arms folded comfortably into his chest.
"I'm still trying to figure that out."
