Too Good to Be True

SURPRISE!

"GIVE IT UP FOR MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE!"

I froze on the spot, processing the words that echoed throughout the hall. I barely even noticed Lozza and Elena had began screaming wildly and running straight through the crowd. I shakily turned behind me to see Ollie, Camille, Lena and Iona, grinning.

"B-...H-...I.."

"ITS YOUR SURPRISE!" Iona laughed, and hugged me. I tried to hug back, but I was too numb. I was going to see them again. I was going to see him again..

"So are you ready to rock out?" Lena shouted over the mental crowd, and took my hand. The intro to Na-Na-Na began and I felt my muscles begin to loosen. All relationships and memories aside, My Chemical Romance were my favourite band, and I was about to see them live. My body began to tremble even more, and I grinned at Lena.

"LETS FUCKING DO IT!" I screamed, before pulling her into the crowd. I didn't stop until we had found Elena and Lozza at last. Within seconds, we were all screaming along with each other, including Lena. Here we were, the MCR girls, all together. Together...

"Na, Na Na Na, Na Na Na, Na Na Na Na Na Na....".

The whole crowd were bouncing, and at first I didn't mind. It was like a gig after all, right? But soon I wanted to see him. Frank.

Weeks had gone by, and I missed his face. Ok, sure, i'd been on the internet, looking at all my pictures of him, i'll admit it! I am still a fangirl after all But it's not the same as having those sparkling hazel eyes look directly into yours.

"And right here, right now, all the way from battery city..."

I felt my heart skip a beat as the crowd were still at last, and I had a clear view of the four people that had changed my life. Time slowed to a halt as I saw them. Ray on the right. Then Mikey. Then Gee. Then Frank. My breath caught in my throat. It was him. It was him...but....

Had he cut his hair!?

"OH MY GOD!" Lena squealed loudly, pointing in Frank's direction. She seemed to have noticed too...."HE'S ALMOST BALD!"

"AND GERARD'S GOT HIS ROOTS DONE!" Elena gasped excitedly. I wanted to laugh, but was to adrenaline-pumped to even try.

"MIKEY TOO! AWW! LOOK AT HIM!" Lozza squealed, beginning to roughly push through the crowd to get nearer to the tiny stage. Camille just grinned widely, following her. Before I knew it, Iona had grabbed my hand and was pulling me after them. I didn't hesitate, and instead picked up the pace. I had managed to be reuinted with everyone, just as the song ended

"Pull this pin, let this world explode..." The audience erupted into a massive cheer, and the guys looked up. It was obvious to anyone that they were searching for someone or something, the way they looked out. I grabbed Lena and Lozza's hand, and didn't even realise that we were all standing in a line, joined together.

"HELLO OLHS!" Everyone went mental. I had forgotten that these people were actually my classmates. "How are we tonight?" Random replies came flying out from the crowd, but my focus was elsewhere. I had to get Frankie to look into my eyes. Just once.

"He's spotted us!" Ollie squealed excitedly, as Gerard's gaze dropped on our group. We all waved enthusiastically, and I even caught Elena blowing a kiss, which caused him to smile widely.

"There are two reasons why we're here tonight!" It wasn't until now I had realised how much I was quivering with excitement. Frank would be looking at me right now, but for some reason I couldn't look. "The first, IS TO GIVE ALL OF YOU KIDS THE BEST NIGHT OF YOUR LIVES!" To my surprise, but also delight, everyone was going as crazy as me. "Alright! And the second..." he glanced briefly at Frank, "...you'll find out later on!" I could already feel the questions building up in me, but I couldn't stop myself from looking at Frank.

The same spark was still in his eyes. The same love. That feeling of protection. Suddenly the hole that had started to form in my heart melted together. Everything clicked into place. Everything was ok.

"Here's one you all should know! I'M NOT OKAY!" Gee shouted, before Frank's intro began to play. I couldn't help myself from laughing at the irony, but when I noticed Frank's eyes still on mine, I couldn't let the giddy smile drop. Just before Gee began singing, he winked, and continued with his infamous crazy-but-hot guitar playing.

"Well if you wanted honesty thats all you had to say..." I let the words come pouring out of my mouth, and I clearly wasn't the only one. MCR hadn't been on stage 10 minutes and the crowd was already buzzing. This was gonna be a hell of a night.

~*~

Half an hour and 3 songs later.

"...Nothing you can say can stop me going home!" Famous Last Words finished and the crowd roared once again.

"THAT WAS AMAZING!" Camillie cried.

"PLEASE DON'T TELL ME THATS IT OVER YET!?" Iona gasped, and Gerard walked up to the mic.

"Thank you very much guys! I've got some good news and bad news..." The hall filled with murmurs, and I turned to Elena and Lozza for an answer. They simply shrugged. "The bad news is..." he turned to the band, and then back again. "...thats us done for tonight!" My mouth dropped, and I found myself crying "Nooo!!!!". Obviously, the other 24328723 people in the hall did the same, but that never made it any different.

Wait a minute. I'd still get to see them after it right?

"I know, I know, but the night's not over yet! And the good news is...the teachers have promised to continue playing our music until you get fed up with it!" The reaction was a mixture of laughs and cheers. I felt myself smiling widely, but my heart dropped. So this was the last...? I turned away, but Iona nudged me, and pointed toward the stage. Ok, so Frank was whispering to Gerard, so what?

"Ok guys, one last thing!" Everyone shuffled, and prepared themselves. "Frank here would like to say something!" Most of the audience screamed with joy, but my mind was elsewhere. I stared up at my boyfriend in anticipation. He coughed, taking the mic, and nodded to the crowd.

"How's it going guys!?" the crowd howled, mostly girls. I couldn't help but feel a pang of....jealousy? "Has everyone had fun tonight?" Everyone cheered again, even louder. I felt eyes on mine, and gasped when it was Frank, staring right into me.

"I've got a little story to tell...see, around a month ago, the unexpected happened. We got a call, from one of our producers. He asked us...he asked us to come to his daughter's party...and, at first we were like, what? Having nothing better to do, though, we gave in, and turned up at the address.

"Of course, we expected the worst. A house of screaming fangirls, right? We were wrong, of course. We were pleasantly surprised to find only four girls, and a bunch of snacks, fun, huh? But then, a particular face stuck in my mind...."

I felt tears begin to well up in my eyes. I couldn't see anything else other than Frank's hazel eyes, which were boring into my own when they weren't looking over the crowd. My breathing started to falter, but my mind was wide awake. All the memories flooded back into my mind.

I smiled the biggest smile I had in a long time. I sunk into him, feeling his muscles in my face. He rested his chin on my head and stroked my hair. I clutched him tight, and tried to slow down time with my mind. I closed my eyes and sighed. This is the life I want....

"After a, well, an extremely pleasant night, you might say..." I laughed at Frank's leaving out the 7 Minutes In Heaven scene, but felt my heartbeat increase at the memory. "...we left, and continued on our tour. Not one night passed without me thinking about her, her eyes, that beautiful smile..." My face broke into a massive smile at his words, causing me to laugh. "My mind was going crazy. And then I saw her again.

"After that, things just got better and better. Before I knew it, I was falling in love." I gasped slightly, and a single tear rolled down my cheek. "I didn't want to leave her, but I had to. It broke my heart....but now it's fixed again." He turned to Mike and nodded. I gasped loudly when he was passed an acousitc guitar, and everyone screamed. I slowly turned around to Lena, Lozza and Elena, who were standing by my right, and their own eyes were glistening. Lozza, who was next to me, held my hand and gripped it tight. "I was told you like this song," he said into the mic. He was on a stool now, and ready to play.

I couldn't help but cry when I heard the intro.

"Oh my god! I love this song!" Iona breathed. And the others agreed immediatley. Mike immeidatley began to join in with the drum beat. I couldn't even sing along, I was shaking with...I don't even know! There's no name for what I was feeling right now!

"There's no one in town I know
You gave us some place to go.
I never said thank you for that.
I thought I might get one more chance.
What would you think of me now,
so lucky, so strong, so proud?
I never said thank you for that,
now I'll never have a chance."

I took a deep breath while everyone screamed. I knew the next line was one of my favourite, and I usually found it hard to contain my emotion.

"May angels lead you in.
Hear you me my friends.
On sleepless roads the sleepless go.
May angels lead you in."

Trembling, I looked up to Frank. He had paused singing and now all of his concentration was on his guitar. My heart was racing, and my mind was boggling with the three words I never thought I would say to someone:

I love you.

~*~

"May angels lead you in..." Frank strummed his guitar one last time, but kept his head looking down. The crowd (including my friends) cheered and applauded loudly, but I remained frozen, unable to move, speak. I watched him get up from the stool and pass the guitar back to the tech guy. I didn't expect what was coming.

"Hailey Daniels." He stated, causing me to look up, gasping loudly, and most of the crowd to look at me in shock. My eyes travelled to his, and he smiled, holding out his hand. It didn't even take me a second to work out what was going on. Ignoring the murmurs and stares coming from the people around me, I slowly walked through, and up the stairs. Once I was close enough, he took my hand in his, putting the mic back in the stand with his other hand. I flashed a smile at Gerard, Mikey, Ray and Mike, who were grinning at me, and looked back to Frank. The passion in his eyes lit my heart on fire, but before he could say anything, I interrupted.

"Do you really love me?" I whispered so quietly I barely even heard myself. He smiled weakly and nodded.

"Enough to do this," Before I had the chance to react, he put one hand behind my waist and pulled me towards him, closing the gap between our lips. I forgot about the hundred or so people watching and kissed back with all my heart. Nothing else mattered other than me and him, this moment. I pulled away for a brief moment, hearing all the whoops, whistles and cheers coming from the crowd for the first time. He looked at me in confusion, but I whispered in his ear, before kissing him again.

I love you too.

It was the perfect ending.

One word - toothache.
Haha, i'm kidding. I love sweet stuff. If I didn't I wouldn't write it :P
I'm not gonna go into deets, but I went to see The Blackout last week today! It was VERY NEARLY as good as MCR, one of the best days of my life. I even met one of the singers, Sean Smith, and got a hug and a picture! (The picture is on my profile ;D) and then I met ALL of them, hugged ALL of them, and got ALL of them to sign my album later on! xD (and that doesn't even touch on how amazing the actual concert was).
So yeah, sorry for it taking so long. ^^

Music credit - Hear You Me by Jimmy Eat World. Lyrics don't really fit but I love the song to pieces and HAD to use it. Go find it on youtube ;D
I'm not gonna say any more ;)
