She Wasn't Afraid.

Twelve.

A week has gone by, the funeral was yesterday, and I'm glad I had a chance to say goodbye, I was sitting on my bed writing in the book Hannah had got me.

There was a knock on my door, I glanced up and saw Owen leaning on the door frame,

"I see she's inspired you to write" he smiled and walked over and sat next to me on my bed.

I nodded and closed the book, "You can't read it yet"

He laughed "Well do I atleast get to know what it's about" he smiled, I noticed the smile was like Hannah's

I rested my head on his shoulder "Everything, Me, You, Hannah...life and darkness"

Owen laid down more and let me rest my head on his chest, right now sleeping was the only thing that felt right, maybe in time I can think of her and not feel sad but happy about the things she helped me with.

I could feel my eyes getting heavier, my breathing slowed down as I drifted off to sleep.

'I know once I do go 'll be with my grandparents and my Dad

my heart tells me that it's something that needs to happen...'

Those were the words that echoed in my head, she was so strong, I envied her because she wasn't afraid.
