Its the early 1920s and America is now in full swing- the prohibition of alcohol has put the Mafia into power, leaving the Otto Family with more than enough potential to take over the state of New York. But the heir to the family business is more than just inadequate to take charge. Royce disappears for days at a time and cares for no one. Except Irene Woodrow.
In their senior year of high school, Royce and Irene are finally beginning to discover what it means to be human and how little acts can become something much larger.
