Simpler Days

I like hiding under the covers from make believe monsters. I like trying to dig holes to China. I like trying to touch the sky while I’m on the swings. I like cuddling with my mommy on rainy days. I like being able to wear pigtails. I like the days when a guy could just be your best friend. I like dressing up on Halloween.I like dressing up when I’m alone. I like collecting the most candy and eating until my teeth feel rotten. I like the spirit of Christmas. I like the warm, cozy feeling and the lively Christmas music. I like baking cookies for Santa. I like believing in magic. I like the simpler days.
