I glanced around the small room were the four of us sat either on a stool, or a short chair in Dan's case, we where in a small studio at WMG.

I was running my hand down my fret boards thinking of the songs we were about to play for the big guys of WMG. I was nervous, I knew it, well I think anyone could tell I was nervous. I mean my leg wouldn't stop bouncing.

Eric was coaching CiCi on some last minute changes he thought would help her. I stared at the wall from across from me facing away from the glass window that was the control room.

The sound of speakers turning on and a voice flooded the room.

"Alright guys, we're ready whenever you are." spoke the man behind the glass along with the others standing around watching.

My eyes widen and I slowly took a step down from the stool. CiCi patted my shoulder with a smile.

"We can do this Jo." she said I looked over at Eric and Dan who both grinned at me.

"Hit it big or go home." Dan said twirling his drum sticks.

I grinned and nodded.

"Let's do this then.

I made my way to one of the microphones that where set up, and sighed before looking at the window.

"This song is called Hello Brooklyn." I said and started the rhythm.

A smile graced my face as I felt CiCi bump her hip into mine gently while she played and started singing along with Eric and I.

I finished the song with a grin and laughed as CiCi was still jumping in excitement, before turning to the microphone again.

"Another one?" I asked raising my eyebrow, watching as they all nodded.

I looked towards Eric silently telling him the song we had thought as second.

"This one's called S.E.X., not you know." I gave a little grin and nodded at CiCi who started while nodding at Eric and I as we started after soon Dan started too.

I bite my lip and looked over at the window seeing laughter and smiles on their faces. CiCi placed her hand on my arm.

"well done guys, you can stop now, we'll call you on anything further alright." said the man at the microphone in the room.

"Yes, sir." spoke Eric from his microphone next to me, we all looked at each other and started to silently pack our equipment and load it back into the car my dad let us borrow for the day.

We soon made our way back to Huntington with heavy hearts, all hoping one thing.
