If I Wake up Tomorrow, Will You Still Be Here?

Chapter Six.

It was dark in the big hall where the cast party was being held. There were thick strobe lights glittering the dance floor, with tiny green and red laser lights encircling them. There was a thick mahogany bar that took up the whole side wall, with ancient high-backed stools lined along the front. There were three men behind the bar, all dressed in the same attire of black pants, white long-sleeved shirts and a black and red pinstriped vests. Even their hair was the same, slicked back with copious amounts of gel. A few people sat on the stools sipping various drinks from slushy-like strawberry daquiris to dark bourbon and cokes. There was a massive booth at the north end of the hall where two men sat silently behind it. Music blared from the four large speakers encompassing the booth, and Zoe realised that they were DJ's.

'Like a G6' by the Far East Movement began to pump through the speakers as the green laser lights silhoutted Zoe's fresh outfit. She knew she looked phenomenal. Kellan had repeatedly told her at the house, throughout the drive in the fancy white limousine, and on the red carpet. In a modest lily white dress that complimented her olive skin, Zoe didn't feel as uncomfortable as she thought she'd feel. The dress was Kellan's idea. It hung tight around her chest area, a thick white satin bow tied at the back, and then flowed loosely by her sides. Her height almost matched Kellan's in the sky-high black heels that she knew would be disregarded on the floor after a few dances. Her hair was wavy, falling gently past her shoulders, her side fringe swept away to the left. Her make-up was simple but smoldering. She had finally perfected the smoky eye look after dinner, much to Kellan's delight. She could see everyone looking her way and she felt slightly embarrassed. She was thankful that the atmosphere was still quite dark so nobody could see her flushed cheeks.

Before taking three steps in the door, a slender woman bounded up to them, a smile spreading across her breath-taking face. She outstretched her hand and her lips moved, "Hey, I'm Ashley."

"Also known as Alice?," she smiled as Ashley nodded slightly, "I'm Zoe."

"You're the talk of the set. Kellan just won't shut up," she laughed, and Zoe couldn't help but be mesmerized with her laugh. The way this girl looked and sounded, she could've been a vampire. It was just so appealing.

Kellan shook his head beside Zoe, raising a hand to his neck in an indication to shut up, "You wanna drink babe?"

"Uh yeah, a cosmopolitian, please." She smiled. Kellan looked nervously behind him as he walked away from Ashley and Zoe. Zoe shook her head at him, she wasn't shy. She would be up on the dance floor after her first drink. It was just her outgoing nature.

"Come and meet the girls. They're all really excited to meet Kell's new girlfriend."

"I'm not really new-" But her wrist was locked into Ashley's hand as she dragged her toward the awaiting gaggle of girls. Zoe barely recognised any, aside from one. In a short black dress emblazened with sequins, it was hard to miss Kristen Stewart. However, as nice of a person as Zoe was she couldn't help admitting to herself that she looked much better with the chocolate brown contacts she wore for the Twilight movies. Her eyes looked like a cats, a yellowy-green. She was still stunningly beautiful, but that tiny fact gave Zoe a massive confidence boost.

She was introduced one-by-one to the main ladies of Twilight, Liz first, then Nikki, and finally Kristen. They were all polite, retelling Zoe the copious amount that Kellan spoke about me. She couldn't help but smile. Ashley and Nikki were the two she felt most comfortable with, though she was shocked by how sweet Nikki really was considering her character on Twilight was a bit of a bitch. Upon saying that, Nikki laughed heartily and gave her a big hug.

"I like you," she smiled.

'Miami 2 Ibiza' by the Swedish House Mafia and Tinie Tempah started to pulse out of the massive speakers and Zoe felt the urge to dance. Kellan had brought over her drink which she downed quickly and pulled Ashley's arm to dance. The rest of the girls followed, Kristen somewhat hesitantly.

"I really can't dance guys. That part of Bella is all me." The girls laughed, and Zoe took her arm.

"I'm a dancer. I'll help you," she smiled, a safe, reassuring smile and it seemed that even Kristen was comforted by it.

It took a while, but soon Kristen felt comfortable enough to dance shyly beside Zoe. She copied her, move for move, but had a big smile on her face the whole time. Zoe heard a muttered, "I still suck," from beside her and turned to grab both Kristen's arms and spin her around.

"You're doing fine," Zoe grinned.

"Everyone's watching," Kristen groaned.

But none of the other four girls were listening as they began singing the next song.

"I want you to take over control. Lock it in and turn me on" Kristen eventually joined in the singing and somehow, they were louder than the music. A big smile broke across Kristen's face, causing Zoe to turn around breathlessly. She stopped, her breath and the words becoming mangled in a untanglable lump. He was gorgeous, absolutely breathtaking.

"You must be Kellan's new girlfriend," Rob spoke, his words shocking Zoe more than his breathtaking appearance, "I'm Rob."

"I used to date a guy called Rob," Zoe smiled, her confidence reentering her petite body, "He was an ass." With a small laugh, she took a step away from Kristen and Rob, and became swept up in Kellan's awaiting arms. He spun her gently, planting a gentle kiss on her lips. It worked, she had become completely relaxed. He placed her carefully back on the floor and they broke off from the group to dance with each other. More people had entered onto the dance floor now, and instead of one large group, there were several couples.

Zoe sung over Kellan's shoulder at Ashley, who was singing just as loudly over her partner's shoulder.

"Baby, baby can't you see that I'm giving all of me,
So it's up to you now,
We could let time pass away or make an excuse to play,
But its up to you now,
Just wanna fulfill your needs, while your taking over me,
So what do you want now?
Take a picture, make a show,
cause nobody has to know, all the ways that we get down
."

Kellan spun Zoe, giving her the perfect glance at Rob. He wasn't moving, just staring stupidly in her direction. Kristen had both of his hands in her arms and was attempting to rock him from side to side as Zoe had done with her. It was a failed attempt.

The song changed again. 'Tonight' by Enrique Iglesias. Zoe could witness the frustration forming on Kristen's face, and decided to stage an intervention. She reached over Kellan, grabbing Kristen's arm and pulled her towards Kellan. She began to copy Zoe's moves again, not missing one step. It was pretty impressive. Kellan laughed at Rob's still motionless physique.

"I think you need to teach Rob a few moves," he snorted.

Zoe smiled up at him, but rolled her eyes away from view, "Get him over here then."

Kellan grinned, glad to see his new girlfriend absorbing herself into his atmosphere. He was proud, she could tell. Rob dawdled mindlessly over to the small group forming, as Ashley and her boyfriend, Joe, stepped into the group, followed by Nikki and Liz.

Rob watched Zoe eagerly, allowing himself to do so more freely as he pretended to copy the dance steps. She watched his face as his perfect lips sung the words of the songs, "Tonight I'm fucking you. You're so damn pretty, if I had a type then baby it'd be you.

Kellan and Zoe began singing themselves, and she was sure that Ashley and Nikki were singing loudly. Liz was a bit more resigned to the lyrics of the songs.

"Here's the situation, been to every nation,
Nobody's ever made me feel the way that you do,
You know my motivation, given my reputation,
Please excuse me, I don't mean to be rude,
But tonight I'm fucking you.
"

Zoe laughed as Kellan humped the air, pointing directly at her. Rob, on the other hand, groaned and looked the other way. Kellan smirked, smacking him squarely on the shoulder, "Sorry bro."

"Bro?" Zoe raised an eyebrow, a look of horror settling itself on her face. Rob looked at her, just as horror-struck. She'd slept with someone Kellan regarded as 'bro'? That was awful.

'I'm sorry,' Rob mouthed but Zoe was too ill to care.

Kellan began singing Ludacris' verse of the song, pulling out his craziest dance moves and laughing loudly. Zoe couldn't help but smile. He really was amazingly gorgeous.

She tried to image Rob singing the same section, which only made her laugh loudly. His thick British accent could never get that deep or sexy. His sounded more like the frontman of Live, which wasn't awfully sexy in itself, but nowhere near Kellan's.

Zoe felt physically sick again, and without looking at anyone, ran off the dance floor, sprinting to the ladies room. She felt hot tears tumble down her face. She had thought this night was going to be fantastic. She was proud of herself for not allowing Rob to ruin her mood, thus keeping Kellan's spirits up. But it was her own stupidity that had ruined tonight. She felt awful; for Kristen, for Rob and for Kellan.

She locked herself in the toilet cubicle, hearing flustered footsteps pounding after her. She closed her eyes, hoping to calm herself down. She saw Rob's face, and suddenly the toilet was drenched with her dinner.
