This Is Not My Body

Abbey's P.O.V -

I woke up around 5 o'clock and Adrienne was gone. Maybe she went to go get the boys? I then heard noises coming from down stairs it sounded like 80 was making dinner. I reached for my phone and saw I had 10 missed calls from my old cell phone number. Maybe Billie couldn't find a suitcase? Maybe my mom said no to him coming? Or...oh no...I have to call him!

I hope what I think happened didn't happen! I dialed the numbers so fast I'm surprised the buttons didn't fall off.

Abbey - " Oh please pick up, please!"

The phone rang 5 times and my old voice mail came on.

Abbey - " Oh I have to try again and again until I get an answer."

I dialed my number again even faster this time.

Billie - " Hello?"

Abbey - " Hey, are you alright? Why didn't you pick up when I called the first time?"

Billie - " I'll tell you what happened! Your sick, horrible step dad came home and rapped me!"

My worst fear had been realized.

Billie - " You could have at lest warned me! I am sick of this shit, I want my life back and I want it now!"

I can't believe I forgot to tell Billie, I have been so distracted I completely forgot what a sick monster my step dad is.

Abbey - " Billie...I know nothing I say will ever make what happened ok, but you need to believe me when I say my day has been a roller coaster, I was just so preoccupied with this fuck fest. I will even admit I was just so happy to be out of that night mare I forgot to even say anything about it."

After all that was said I waited for his response, I don't blame him if he doesn't answer me and just hangs up. I screwed up big time, all I care about right now is getting him and his wife back together. I don't care if I have to go back to my night mare of a life, as long as I get him and his family back together.

Abbey - " Billie, you there?"

I waited witch seemed like forever, but I finally heard him suck in a bug breath of air.

Billie - " Yeah I'm hear, I guess I can't be all mad at you. I do except your apology, I will be honest though your dad.."

Abbey - " Step dad."

Billie - " Step dad, sorry. Anyway's you step dad wasn't doing this because I'm Billie Joe, he did it because he thinks I'm you. Why does he treat you so badly? Honestly, I am still freaked out about what happened, and it will probably never get out of my mind; but he seems like he does this a lot. Even you mother knows what he does, and she seems like she is ok with it. Why does he do this to you? I'm sorry if this is hard for you but I need to know."

Abbey - " Please, Billie don't."

I started to feel tears coming, but stopped because I remembered I'm in the body of a 38 year old man.
