The very idea of love is so profound that I can't comprehend it anymore. All I can see is rejection and hurt. I can't be loved. When it hurts to love someone and only want them, yet anyone one will do for them...

What is the love of a parent? Are they supposed to tell you that you've done well and value you above anyone else? Or is it that all parents treat their child's achievements like garbage, not good enough.
Perhaps that's all it is.
