When The World Slaps Us
For the past couple of weeks something has been happening to me my bones would hurt, I was tired all the time and I was getting bruises on my back. My mom is right now taking me to the doctors to see what was going on.
“Mrs. Sullivan…Karine” The doctor greeted me
“What is wrong with her” My mom asked
The doctor talked to us and my mother slowly broke down and cried, my face fell as I didn’t cry but my heart and world shattered. I cried as my mom drove us to Matt’s house were everyone was at. I cried as we walked in. The girls noticed us and screamed for the guys, my dad immediately wrapped his arms around her.
“What happened?” He asked my mom
She didn’t answer and I wiped my eyes
“I have Leukemia” I cried
All of the guys wrapped their arms around my family as my dad for the first time busted into tears and began to cry with everyone. I told them that I was to go to chemotherapy and that they don’t know if I was going to make it but to be strong and brave.
