From Rags to Riches.

I still can't believe Andreas' is gone. I mean, who would want to kidnap such a sweet , and innocent person like him? He did nothing wrong to anybody. Ever since he got kidnapped, I've been nothing but a zombie. It's all my fault , I should've walked over with him. I should've followed my gut feeling. I was snapped out of my thoughts by my mom walking in.

"It'll be okay , mijo. We'll find him." My mom said , walking over and wrapping me in her arms.

"Mami , what if we don't? There's no trace to where he went or how he got kidnapped. It's like he disappeared in midair." I said , nuzzling my face in her neck. I don't even want to think about what he's going through.

"Don't talk like that. You know we'll find him , no matter what. There's multiple search parties , and practically every single person in town is helping out. We WILL find him." She said , tears welling in her eyes.

"I just. . .what if we don't? He would never know how I feel about him."

"I thought you already told him? Manny , you're not supposed to keep feelings like that in. You ever heard that saying? You never know what you have , untill it's gone. Huh?" She said , rubbing my arms. It always did calm me down , but not right now. I had too much on my mind.

"I know that! It's just I didn't want to face rejection. He can find someone way better than me."

"Sweetheart, Andreas' is a sweet and understanding boy. He would never think something like that. "

"You never know how real a person is." I said , walking out. I just had to go somewhere and clear my mind. Anywhere but in here , where Andreas always was. While walking out , I noticed my dad walking in.

"Whats wrong with him?" He asked , in his heavy hispanic accent.

"He's heartbroken. You know how he felt about Andreas." She said , wrapping her arms around his waist.

Tears started welling up in my eyes , and I had to walk out. They'll never know how I feel. Never.
