Hellos Are Harder Than Goodbyes

I had went to the library so I had something to do during the break. I usually got sucked up into the books and didn't come out of my room.

I had tried to talk Kayla into letting me get a job but no. She told me I needed a break. I didn't. I was rarely hungry and even though the kitchen was full of food I rarely ate.

I stayed my skinny shape and it looked almost anorexic. I had went through about 4 books by the time it was Christmas.

I helped Kayla cook and helped Mike wrap the presents for Thomas. Holiday music was played and cookies were baked for Santa. Stockings were put up with the hope of being filled.

I went to sleep awaiting a Christmas that would be celebrated with my new adopted family, relatively scary. Me and my mom always sang a couple songs but thats it.

I tossed and turned on Christmas Eve.
