Letters To Auden

I remember Jaces' first day of kindy. He was sticking to my hand like a leech. He has your eyes you know? and your hair and your laugh and you even managed to give him your sappy lines.

"Please Muma?" he begged, those grey eyes tipping my heart

"No sweety, i've got work. Just be strong" I encouraged

I kissed his cheek and tugged my hand of his grasp

"I love you honey" I whispered

"I love you too muma" He sighed, defeated.

As I left, I called over my shoulder,

"Ill be back at 3!"

But I didn't leave. I went to the window and watched. I watched as a petite girl with long wavy auburn hair, and deep brown eyes, took his empty hand and led him over to the drawing table. It seems funny, like deja vu.

I would never forget you Denny. Ever. You brought me joy before and even after your death. I miss you. You will always be my prince and I will always be your princess. I can promise you, Jace and his girl will never have the same ending as us. I'll make sure of it. And always remember,
