Mickey Juliper Reid is a girl who hasn't really gotten her life in order. She was thrown around through foster homes since her parents were murdered in a brutal killing when she was only six years old. After she has been beaten, abused, and raped in several households, she was adopted at age 16 by Diana Reid, Spencer Reid of the BAU's mother, because Diana thought Mickey looked like a shattered porcelain doll waiting to be fixed. It was the first time Mickey felt loved. Until she was 18, she lived in the house with Diana, and when Mickey went to college, Spencer put their mother in a mental home. Mickey went to college at a local community college but went on to get BA's in Psychology and Creative Writing. She had no idea what to do with her life, so she moved to an apartment a few miles from the mental home Diana was staying at. She stayed there up until the beginning of our story. Mickey is now 22 and Spencer is 26.
