Ray’s Point Of View

I was sat on the field with Gerard, Frank, Mikey and Bob, just talking about what they had gotten up to in the summer holidays whilst I was still stuck here.
“Well anyway enough about us, what did you get up to here?” Gerard asked me smiling.
“Nothing much, just the usual.” I answered shrugging.
“Aw, well we missed you so much!” Frank lunged himself at me and hugged me tightly.
“Thanks Frank.” I tried to pry him off of me but failed miserably.
The fire exit that we sat near suddenly opened making us turn our attention to it.
Beth walked out and walked straight past us whilst pulling out her Ipod. Frank finally released me from his death grip and everyone carried on talking.
I kept my eyes on Beth and saw her sit down on her own on the far side of the field.
“Guys I’m going to go and see Beth.” I said standing up. Bob raised his eyebrows at me.
“And Beth is?”
“A friend.”
“Hmm sure.” Mikey winked at me.
“I’m serious!”
“Sure you are.” Frank said and then also winked at me.
I rolled my eyes at them all.
“Well I’ll see you later.” I turned away from them and started walking over to Beth.
