You're Joking Right?!

'Do you always stay like a wolf?' Victoria thought

Landon, Victoria, and I were giving Kade a tour of the house. Victoria was on Kade's back as we all walked around

"When I don't feel in danger my body will change to a human form" He said

Landon held my hand as we showed him his parents floor

'You aren't in danger. You are my guard now no one is allowed to hurt you' Victoria thought

Kade laughed lightly

"What if someone does little one?" he asked

I watched as Victoria's small hands gripped his fur tighter

'I will kill them where they stand' she thought darkly

The air around us became serious quickly. Victoria is usually a very happy and friendly baby and it was odd to see this side of her

"I understand little one" he said

Landon smiled as we walked around

"Connections are what bind us all Adalyn. We each all have connections some are similar and some are diffrent. But they are all so everyone is protected and safe in a way" he said Landon move us all to our floor

"So Kade since you are Victoria's Offcial guard you get to watch her sleep. Because she has not slept long and she isn't happy without her sleep" I said opening her door

Kade laughed and nodded his head

'Im not sleepy. I want to play with Kade more' she thought

Landon and I shook our heads at the silver eyed baby

"You get your way any other day but you know sleep time. You can cry if you want but you are going to sleep" Landon said sternly

She whined and moved off Kade's back. When she was on the floor Kade picked the back of her shirt up with his teeth and put her in the crib

"I will be here the whole time little one" he said licking her face

She giggled and laid on her side so she could look at him

'Goodnight Adalyn. Goodnight Landon' she thought

I fixed her blankets and turned her lights off and snapped her tiny lights on

"If you need anything we are down the hall. The bathroom is there and I left clothes in there if you do change to your other form" Landon said

Kade nodded and Laid next to Victoria's crib. He then looked up and me and sniffed the air a bit

"Night Kade" I said leaving the room

I moved us to our room and snapped my clothes off. Landon laid on the bed and turned the tv on

"We should start planning our wedding" I said

He looked over at me and nodded and smiled

"Then you will be binded to me forever" he said

I laughed and moved to lay in front of him

"Is that bad?" I asked

He kissed my nose

"No im awesome" he said

I giggled and buried my face in his neck

"I love you Landon" I said softly

He wrapped his arms around me tigther and buried his face in my hair

"I love you too" he said back

I smiled and relaxed into him

~Riley POV~

I rubbed my face and walked into my bathroom. My hair was all over

"Good gracious" I said softly

I snapped my shower on and stripped of my clothes. The water was warm and it relaxed and woke me up. I got out when i was clean enough and put on some jeans and a t-shirt and put my hair up in a ponytail. I could see Victoria's dreams she had made connections with all of us and we always could hear her or see her. She was dreaming of a light brown wolf running around. I walked out of my room and passed my brother's room

"Goodmorning Riley" I heard him say

I smiled and went into Victoria's room. I walked over to her crib and rubbed her cheek

"Hope you had a good day munchkin" I said fixing her blanket

She smiled in her sleep

"Who are you?" I heard a deep voice say

I looked up and saw a tall man in the doorway of Victoria's bathroom. I felt a tug at my chest when i looked into his hazel eyes

"Who are you?!" I growled lowly

He put his hands up and tried to calm me

"Im Kade. Im the princesses guard" he said

I stared at him to see if he was lying. I calmed down after a few minutes

"You must be the sleeping beauty Riley" he said softly

I smiled. Adalyn always calls me sleeping beauty

"Tell me they didn't tell you the story too" I said

He chuckled a bit

"The little one told me the whole story. Very odd story" he said

I looked over at him. He was sitting in the middle of the floor

"When did you get here? And why did they pick you?" I asked

His light brown hair was almost to his shoulders. He pulled it into a pony tail and looked up at me

"That ice demon who took Adalyn killed half my clan and took my brother. When i found my brothers body i could still smell him so i followed it here, Adalyn has my brothers scent sticking all over her. Victoria touched me and saw all the visions in my head and she asked the king if i could stay" he said softly

I felt a sharp pain in my chest and I sat down in front of him. His eyes were looking all over my face

"Are you alright?" he asked touching my hand

A spark shocked us both and I looked up at him

"Perfect" I said softly

He smiled at me and chatted with me for hours

'Kade' I heard Victoria's thoughts

Kade got up and looked down at her in the crib. She giggled and he picked her up

"Hello little one" he said nuzzling his nose in her cheek

She giggled and pulled his hair

'Riley did you meet my Kade?' Victoria asked

I stood up and kissed her forehead

"Yes i met him. He is very nice good job picking him out" I said putting my arms out for her

He handed her to me and she snuggled into me

"Come on time for a bath" I said

Victoria giggled

'Kade come with us' She thought

I started her bath and Kade got her undress. When the water was warm enough he put her in the middle of the tub

'Kade where does all your fur go?' Victoria asked

Kade shrugged

"When i shift over it goes away" he said

I was washing Victoria's head when i heard my mothers voice

"Oh Riley you're awake. And who is this?" she asked looking next to me

Kade was kneeling to her

'That's Kade mommy' Victoria thought

My mother blushed a bit and made and "O" sound

"Goodevening Kade" she said

Kade looked up at her and smiled

"Hello my queen" he said back

I rinsed Victoria off and my mother sat next to me. Victoria loved baths she splashed around in the bubbles and played with her toys

'Kade did your mommy and sister give you baths?' Victoria asked

He put his head down on his arms. I felt that sharp pain in my chest again and everyone saw me recoil

"Riley are you sure you are ok?" Kade asked

He pulled my face to look at him and i knew he felt the shock that time. He kept his eyes fixed on me

"Kade take Riley to the library. Her father can check her out" my mother said softly

I moved to look at my mother and she winked at me. I stood up and Kade followed behind me

"Do you wa-" I was cut off by Kade's lips on mine

I could have melted to the floor but he pulled back quickly

"Im sorry I don't know what came over me. Im never that impulsive" he said bitting his bottom lip

I blinked and moved us to the library. Kade looked around

"Daddy" I said softly

I was still in shock from Kade kissing me. I could feel someone looking at us but my eyes were glued to Kade
