Ten years ago, Immortals tore through a portal and into our unsuspecting world. At first we throught nothing of it, until humans started to disappear. Creatures appeared claiming to be called 'Purifiers'. They said our race was a parasite and needed to be exterminated.
Humans have hidden themselves, those who survived the initial massacre that is.
Eleanor is one of those who survived the initial massacre. She was saved by a Purifier she knows as Azreal. She is surviving with a human clan in the hills, trying to protect them as much as she can.
Azreal is the Purifier who let one escape. He believes Eleanor to be dead, since most of the humans were. Seeing her all grown up is a complete shock to the normally emotionless angel of death.
