In 2019, most of the world is taken over by Better Living Industries, a corporation that wants to perfect human society and clear all emotions after the tragedies in 2012. Some have rebelled against this lifestyle and have now made themslves known as Killjoys. These rebels are the main enemies that stand in the way of BLI.
Electric Torrent and her group that consist of Acid Candy, Chemical Rocket, and Ghost Bullet are among the Killjoys after being seperated from their families. They've been on the run for years and are just trying to survive in California. Along the way, they meet another group being led by Party Poison. Convinced that they're all on the same side, they all decide to stick together.
But what happens when things from the past intervene with their current lives?
