You're Mine Forever & Always

Epilogue

Two years later:
Today, I was finally going to marry him, the love of my life, Taylor Lautner. I can’t believe this day is finally here. Today was the day we decided because it’s also our anniversary. I guess things do work out as planned. I stare at myself in the mirror for a minute or so longer before I am pulled from my thoughts. Everything looked perfect, my hair, my dress, my makeup even, which I knew would mess up sooner or later from crying. I turn to see my mom standing there, a wide smile on her face.

“My beautiful daughter…I can’t believe my baby girl’s about to be married and off to live on her own with her soon to be husband,” she exclaims and I notice tears well up in her eyes. I could feel the tears well up in my own eyes as I take a step forward toward her, holding my dress up so I wouldn’t trip. I smile as she pulls me in a hug and presses a kiss to my cheek, careful to smear my makeup.

“We’ve been living together for a year and a half mom, so it won’t be that different,” I tell her with a slight laugh.

“I know but I’m still going to miss seeing you all the time, you’ll always be my baby girl,” she says with a smile as we part from the hug.

“I know, mom, I’m going to miss that, too, I love you so much,” I tell her and smile as I hug her once more.

A few minutes go by and I sit and begin to think of how it will go. I could feel my palms beginning to sweat. This always happened when I got nervous. I just wanted everything to go well and nothing to go wrong.

Soon, there was a knock on the door. I move over to the bathroom and hide because I had no idea who it was going to be. Hopefully it was my brother because if it was Taylor, it would ruin the tradition of not seeing you’re soon to be spouse before the wedding.

Further going on with the tradition, I had something old, something new, something blue and something borrowed, even a sixpence. For something old, I wore a necklace my mom gave me a few years ago. For something new, it was my gorgeous wedding dress, a long white gown with a sweetheart neckline and beads going down the back, it’s always been the dress I’ve wanted for this day ever since I could remember.

It still felt unreal that soon, I’ll be walking into that church and coming out married, to the love of my life. For something blue, I wore these real pretty blue diamond earrings that surprisingly went well with my dress, and for something borrowed, I was wearing the veil my mom wore when my parents got married. Lastly, I had a sixpence in my left heel I wore; it was passed down to my father from my grandfather.

“Who is it?” I call out and peek around to see who was at the door. It soon opens and I let out a sigh of relief when my brother steps into the room. I walk out in the main part of the room and smile as I see him standing there. He looked good in the tux he wore, a smile on his face.

“Wow, Sam, you look gorgeous, can’t believe my baby sister’s getting married, c’mere you,” Jason smiles and comes forward, extending his long arms. I smile and slowly come forward, wrapping my arms around him tightly.

“I know Taylor will definitely treat you right, I’ve known it since I first met him, I’m happy for you, Sam,” he tells me as we hug. I can’t help but tighten my arms around him and sniffle a bit as I try to hold back my tears from falling.

“Is he as nervous as I am?” I ask with a hint of laughter in my voice. We soon pull away from the hug and I look up at him. He looked good in his tux, I had to admit. I couldn’t help but wonder what Taylor looked like in his, waiting for my arrival down the aisle. Probably gorgeous as ever, well in my opinion he is.

“Yeah, he was or is…very nervous, Sam, won’t stop pacing the room,” he says with a smile.

“That’s what I was doing before you knocked on the door and scared me, thought it was Taylor knocking on that door,” I say with a sigh.

A few more minutes go by and he says he’s going to get out there, because there was another knock on the door. Crap, is it time already? My mom opens the door and I notice her look over at me, a small smile on her face. It must be because she had a look in her eyes. I give her a questionable look and walk over to where she stood to see my father standing there looking just as handsome in his tux and bow tie.

“Sam, it’s time, princess,” my father says and smiles a bit. I smile and sniffle a bit as I hug him tightly, careful to snag my dress. “I love you daddy, so much,” I mutter softly as I hug him.

“Love you too, sweet girl, everyone’s waiting for you,” he says looking at me as we stand out in the empty hallway. everyone else must already be in their seats waiting for me. I was more than nervous now that I was about to walk down that aisle to Taylor. I didn’t want to trip in front of all of our guests. I link my arm with my father’s as we wait for my cue.

My bridesmaids soon go forward and are escorted in by Taylor’s groomsmen. I could hear the opening riffs of the wedding march begin to play. It was almost time where I had to walk down the aisle. In front of me and my dad was Jessica, my maid of honor and the flower girl, my younger cousin, Brianna, who was seven.

“Breathe, Sam, it’s all going to go fine,” my dad tries to calm my nerves as we wait for our cue. I nod my head slowly and take in a small breath and let it out seconds later. Next thing I know, I am soon slowly making my way into the church alongside my dad.

The wedding march began to play as he began to lead me down the aisle. This place was packed; so many people were here in attendance. All the seats were occupied, there didn’t seem to be any extra spaces left for anyone. A smile made its way to my face as I look around at all the guests. It only got wider when I finally spotted him, Taylor near the altar, waiting for me. He looked perfect in his tuxedo, a smile plastered across his face when he spotted me. Tears pricked in my eyes as I continued to make my way to where my soon to be husband stood, waiting for me.

This is actually about to happen... I think to myself as we go down the aisle, passing a bunch of people. I could even spot out Nick and Kevin throughout the many guests. I turn my focus back to the gorgeous man waiting for me at the altar.

We soon make it there and I smile at my dad before hugging him tightly once more. He whispers something into my ear and I can’t help but sniffle a bit. “You’ll always be my baby girl, I love you so much, Sam,” he whispers before handing me over to Taylor. I kiss his cheek lightly and take Taylor’s hand in mine.

My father soon joins my mother on the left side where most of my family sat along with numerous family members like my aunts and cousins. I smile as I turn to Taylor, he had a wide smile on his face and I couldn’t help but notice a sparkle in his eyes. He looked so happy, just like I was. He whispers an ‘I love you’ to me before we turn to the priest and he begins to speak.

He quotes some scripture and a few other things about marriage. Each of us both spoke when we had to. I couldn’t wait until we got to the vows. It was going to be a while. He spoke a bit longer before we could finally begin the vows. It took quite a while for each of ours since they were quite long. Next thing we know, it’s time for the rings, finally.

“Do you, Taylor Daniel Lautner take this woman, Samantha Elizabeth Roberts to be your lawfully wedded wife as long as you both shall live?” the priest asked looking over at Taylor. He can’t stop smiling as he looks at me.

“I do,” he says with a smile as he holds onto each of my hands in his and brings his thumbs lightly over the tops of my fingers. He grabs the gorgeous diamond ring off the ring bearer’s pillow, his younger cousin, who stood there wide eyed looking around at everything happening around us, and slips it on my bare left ring finger. I smile and mouth an ‘I love you’ to him. He mouths it back to me and smiles again.

“Now, do you, Samantha Elizabeth Roberts, take this man, Taylor Daniel Lautner to be your lawfully wedded husband as long as you both shall live?” the priest asks looking at me. I nod my head and smile as I keep my gaze locked on the beautiful man who stood before me.

“I do,” I say with a hint of a laugh as I reach over and grab the silver wedding band from the pillow his little cousin was holding for us. I bring it up and slip it on Taylor’s left ring finger, the smile never leaving my face.

The priest shuts his book and smiles at each of us. “I now pronounce you man and wife, Taylor you may now kiss your bride,” he tells Taylor with a smile. I smile a bit as Taylor grabs me by the waist and pulls me closer to him, never breaking his gaze from me. He leans forward and presses his lips against mine. I smile as I begin to kiss him back, wrapping my arms around his neck. As he kisses me again, I feel him smile against my lips.

We soon part from the kiss, smiling widely at each other. The smile never left my face as I stare at my husband. I couldn’t believe he was officially my husband, it felt so good to finally be able to call him that. I knew he felt the same way by how he looked at me. He mutters an ‘I love you’ and kisses my nose. I laugh a bit and pull him close as we turn to face all of our guests.

“I would now like to introduce to everyone, Mr. and Mrs. Taylor Daniel Lautner,” he finishes and I feel him wrap an arm around my waist as we stand there.

Everyone stands and cheers loudly, gradually getting louder as we begin to make our way up the aisle toward the reception hall. Today was the best day of my life and I knew there were many more I was looking forward to since I get to spend it with this wonderful man.
