She searched for her next opponent, fiery red hair whipping around her face as she did. 'There!' A short and stout man man ran at her, sword raised. She quickly dodged and pierced through his shoulder. The man faltered backwards, looking stunned. 'Another fool who underestimates me,'she thought with a grin on her face.She easily sidestepped his next attack and beheaded him with one easy swing of her sword.
"That wasn't necessary, you know," a tall brownish-red headed man comes up to her.
"What wasn't necessary?" she asks with innocent eyes.
"You didn't have to decapitate him. It just makes a mess."
"What does it matter dead is dead, right?" He looks at her for a minute,shakes his head and says," Let's go back to camp I'm starving."

The camp was crowded, the campers thin from and weary from months of travel.
Supper looked like soup...again. Breakfast was usually the best meal of the day:eggs, meat, biscuits.
