Now What?
One
His name was Jack Daniel Rangelo.
He talked to me for the first time at the library. I went to the library once a week after school when I went to church.
I had seen him a couple times before he worked up the nerve to talk to me.
I had no idea what would happen after that first conversation.

"Hey." he said as he sat at the table I was sitting at.
I pulled one earbud out so I could hear him.
"Hey." I shyly replied.
"What's your name?" he smiled.
"Mikayla." I put my pencil down seeing that he wasn't walking away.
"Cute." he smiled again.
Do I seriously have butterflies?
"Thanks." I looked into his hazel eyes.
"So what are you working on?" he pointed to the worksheet in front of me.
"Algebra." I frowned.
"Ah. So you a shmen?" he tapped his fingers to a beat in his head.
"Huh?" I replied.
What did he just call me?
"A freshman. Are you a freshman?" he chuckled.
"Oh. Yeah." I smiled.
"You don't look it." his eyes raked over my body.
"How old do I look?" I rested my head on my hand that was on the table.
"17." he said after he thought for a minute.
"Wow. I'm only fifteen." I giggled.
I seriously hated these stupid butterrflies.
"Well could've fooled me." he smiled.
I heard my alarm go off in my war telling me it was time for church.
"I have to go." I said putting my stuff in my backpack.
"Where?" he asked confused.
"Church." I replied quickly.
"Oh. Ok. Well see you later I guess." he smiled getting up.
"Yeah." i said turning to face him.
He gave me a hug before I walked away. I walked out of the library with a smile on my face and a stomach full of butterflies.
Stupid butterflies.
