Temptation
“Please don't lie to me, unless you're absolutely sure I'll never find out the truth.”
Now the LORD God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden; and there he put the man he had formed.[...] So the LORD God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs and then closed up the place with flesh. Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.
They call her Eve. She doesn't think that's her name, but that's what they tell her. Her husband's name is Adam, though she doesn't recognize him or care for him. But the man who calls himself God and the SNAKES that guard them all tell her the same story. But as every day passes, she grows more and more certain that there is another truth out there waiting to be found.
