Welcome to Hell
All I Want
The next day recording took most of the day. Benedikte had to make sure everything was perfect. She did take after take until she was satisfied. Euronymous was getting angry because this was not the way to do it.
“Benedikte this is the last take. If you don’t like it I don’t really care, we need to finish this.” Euronymous said.
Benedikte and Euronymous were much like brother and sister. They would fight while recording but then they were best friends again afterwards.
When the girls had finished recording they were putting everything away, a knock was heard at the door.
Kylee answered the door for the rest of the group and she saw Necrobutcher and Manheim at the door.
“Hey guys how goes it?” She said upon seeing their faces.
“Kylee we have to talk to Euronymous is he here.” Manheim asked.
“Yeah come on in,” she said leading the way.
When they came into the view of the others they all had the same confused expression.
“Manheim, Necrobutcher why are you here?” Euronymous asked.
“Well I really want back in this band. I listened to Maniac’s dumb ass and I feel really stupid about leaving this band.” Manheim explained.
“Other than that we wanted to see how the girls were doing. We’re both really interested in this band.” Necrobutcher finished.
“Well you’re a little late we’re actually done.” Alva said grinning.
“I have some editing to do and then they can play their first show. The venue is even gonna allow us to have the pig heads on stakes.” Euronymous explained.
“Everyone let’s go I’m sure Kirsten and Euronymous would like to get started on that editing.” Benedikte said picking up her bass.
Benedikte got everyone to finally clear the room and she left with a sideways glance at Kirsten and winked at her.
“So Euronymous what did you have in mind for today?” Kirsten asked.
“Well I was thinking of taking a walk out in the forest near the house. I know how you said you loved going outside. I figured it would be a good place to go.”
“Alright come on.” Kirsten said grabbing his hand.
It took about five minutes to get to the destination and she had to admit it was beautiful.
It was late afternoon and the sun was streaming through the trees. It lit the ground making the grass look greener. As I stood awestruck I felt Euronymous’ hand slip into mine.
“Are you gonna just stand here or do you actually want to take a walk.” He said chuckling slightly.
“Oh yeah, um, let’s go.” Kirsten said snapping out of her reverie.
They started walking through the trees silently.
“Hey Kirsten,” Euronymous said breaking the silence.
“Yeah,” she answered looking around.
“You know we’ve been friends for a while now and I don’t really know much about you other than your family and some of the things you enjoy.”
“Well I feel like I can now share some things about my life that only my family and Benedikte know. Benedikte has been my only friend other than a cousin of mine.” Kirsten said.
Her voice hitched slightly when she said the word cousin. He saw her face flush and all kinds of emotions run through her eyes.
She had stopped talking and Euronymous asked, “What’s wrong Kirsten?”
He led her to a huge stump in the forest and sat down with her.
“My cousin was my only best friend when I was young. We were so much alike. One day I went to her house and I guess no one was supposed to come over. When she heard her dad’s car she told me to go out the back and make my way back home so she wouldn’t get in trouble. I made it home and the next day I was taken out of class. I was informed that my uncle had killed her. Supposedly he had been angry because of all the stuff that was happening in their life and he snapped. He killed her because he was angry and drunk.” Kirsten said tears falling down her face.
“I mean my grandma had died months before that from cancer. I was only fourteen at the time. I just can’t understand why all this horrible things happened to me. Those are the reasons for my atheism and my fear of death.” She continued shakily.
The tears came faster and she just couldn’t hold it in any longer. She felt strong arms wrap around her shoulders and she rested her head on his shoulder.
Euronymous POV
When she started crying Euronymous was unsure of what to do. He had never had feelings for anyone or anything before. Pain and pleasure had always been the same to him and feelings were foreign. For some reason he did something out of character and wrapped her in his arms. He had never felt like this about anyone before but he felt a different connection to her than anyone else. He just decided to let her cry it out.
Normal POV
As Kirsten stopped crying she looked up to see Euronymous staring at the sky.
“I’m sorry Euronymous.” Kirsten said lightly.
Euronymous heard her voice and he looked at her taking his arm from around her shoulder to rest them on her hands.
“Its fine Kirsten, I understand your need to get it out of your system. I always wondered why a lot of your songs involve death and anger.”
“Yeah and when my cousin died I had no one else to hang out with so I went to the library a lot. I stumbled across the serial killer and murder books. Even with everything that had happened murderers and serial killers were interesting to me. I was interested in why they did, what they did, and how they did it. There were crime scene photos too and the pictures were interesting. I guess I like morbid things because it hit close to home. I’m pretty sure if I had seen the murder I wouldn’t be like this.” Kirsten finished with a sigh of relief.
“Well it is interesting that you like that kind of things. I don’t know if you’ve listened to the lyrics of our songs but it’s the same kind of thing. I thought I was the only one who found death interesting.”
“Yeah to me it’s interesting and scary but I guess it comes with the black metal territory. I’ve always wondered how you felt about this whole burgeoning scene.” Kirsten said.
“Well I think it will incite violence, torture, pain, and revert back to the Viking religion.” Euronymous said.
“I like your way of thinking, I can see it by the way bands are now playing.” Kirsten said.
They both stood up and started walking back out of the forest. They talked to each other about their lives and ideas of where all the music was going. They got to the edge of the forest as the sun was setting. Euronymous walked Kirsten to her car.
“I had a great time talking to you. It feels good to have someone listen and not judge me for crying.” She said her face turning pink.
“It’s fine Kirsten, really.”
He lifted her chin so that they were looking straight into each other’s eyes. He leaned down and gave her a forceful kiss. She wrapped her arms around his shoulders and kissed back. Kirsten felt happy as his arms wrapped around her waist and she didn’t want the day to end.
She pulled away smiling, “goodbye Kirsten.”
Kirsten got into her car and pulled away. In her rearview mirror she could see Euronymous retreat back into the apartments. She was glad to finally have someone love her. She drove back to the house ready to tell all the girls about it.
“Benedikte this is the last take. If you don’t like it I don’t really care, we need to finish this.” Euronymous said.

In the last chapter I said that the date was March 5, 1987. In actuality I meant to say that it was July 5, 1987. Sorry for any confusion.
