It's Never Gonna Be Too Late.

Nothing You Say Can Stop Him.

Alex's POV.

The movie ended, but there was still the presence of Gerard.
I felt scared when he started yelling at me.
Where he drove off to I have no idea.
I was worried now.
He'd end up doing something else stupid, just like he had at the party.
This was why Ashe shouldn't have broken up with him.
I know Gerard will do something he shouldn't.
"Babe, I'm going to take a shower. I'll be out soon," Bob told me.
"Okay," I said, still sitting on the couch.
He walked into the bathroom and I heard the pounding of the water along the bottom of the bathtub.
I turned on the regular T.V. and flipped through channels.
I couldn't find anything to watch, so I shut it off.
I leaned back, making my head comfortable on the couch cushion, and closed my eyes.
I was disturbed yet again by a knocking at the door.
Without seeing who it was, I opened the door.
A tall, slim figure walked it with his hands in his jean pockets.
"Mikey?" I said as if I was asking a question.
"Alex, I know this is kind of random."
"No, no, sit down," I said as I closed the door.
"Where's Bob?"
"In the shower."
"Oh."
We both took seats on the couch.
I had stopped thinking about Mikey until right now.
We sat facing each other, making it sort of awkward.
"Look," he said, "I'm sorry about last night and the party. Things got out of hand."
"Don't apologize to me. It's really Ashe that needs it."
"I was kind of referring to what we almost did in Gerard's bedroom."
"Oh, that," I scratched my head and looked down.
"I'm sorry, too," I admitted.
I stared into his hazel eyes, getting lost.
It was getting way too awkward.
"Gee's lost it," I confessed.
"I know he has. He texted me telling me everything. I sort of feel bad."
"Feel bad? How do you feel bad for him? After all he did to Ashe? He deserved right."
Did I really just say that about Gerard?
"I'm sorry, Mikey, that came out wrong."
"No, Alex, no. It didn't. I know, I know. I have no idea what I should do anymore. He does this every time. I feel like this happens way too often and I don't know what to do."
"Yeah, I know. I don't want to know where he's gone to."
"Neither do I."
We were both startled when the shower had stopped.
Mikey raised up off the couch.
"I should probably go. I've been here a little longer than I expected. Bye, Alex," he said.
"Bye, Mikey," I sighed.
I got up off the couch when he closed the door.
I went into my purse and got my phone.
Dialing a rare seven digit number, I sat on my bed.
"Alex?" the voice on the other line asked?
I told Ashe everything that just happened.
