It's Never Gonna Be Too Late.

It's Not What It Looks Like.

Ashe's POV.

Before I knew it, Alex came knocking on the door.
I quickly open it and ask, "Where is he?"
She took a seat down on the couch and I followed.
"Now, what did he say?" she asked.
"That he knew how I felt when I was explaining how Gerard was pissing me off." I sighed.
"Remember, Kristy ?" she asked. "Frank's ex girlfriend?"
"Yes, but what does this have to do with anything?" I asked, confused.
"Remember how no one liked her, because she was always sleeping around and doing drugs and such?" She asked again and this time it was coming to me.
"Yes, and he kicked her out once he realized it was wrong. He was crushed but it was the only this he could have-" I paused. "Wait, Frank sounds almost like me.."
"Exactly. I'm thinking he went to Kristy's house and talk to her."
"So are you saying we should check for him at Kristy's?"
"Yes, that'd exactly what I'm saying."
Without rethinking it, the two of us climbed into her car and headed for her apartment.
Approaching an old apartment complex twenty-five minutes later, we were at Kristy's.
Both of us saw Frank's car in a parking space.
Alex remembered which apartment was her's and we stood infront of the door.
As she knocked three times, we waited.
Not hearing anything from inside, I pressed my hand against the door and it slowly opened.
Exchanging glances, we went inside.
We looked around with the lights off.
Not wanting to disturb anything, we kept them off.
I groped around the small living space until I heard noises from the bedroom.
I motioned Alex to follow me and we went inside the bedroom.
I couldn't believe my eyes.
On the floor were two pairs of pants.
Kristy's pants and Frank's pants.
I looked in the bed and there they were, doing exactly what I feared.
I quietly gasped, bringing my hand to my mouth.
Frank lifted his head up and stopped kissing her.
Startled, he got off the bed.
He pulled up his pants and walked towards me.
"Ashe, listen, it's not what it looks like."
I looked back at the bed, seeing Kristy with the covers wrapped around her.
I didn't say anything.
I walked out of the apartment and went into the passenger seat of Alex's car.
I buried my head in my hands and felt a tear roll down.
I just wanted to go home.
