It's Never Gonna Be Too Late.

I Don't Know What I Want.

Alex's POV.

I walked over to Mikey's car as we got ready to drive to the hospital.
I didn't even want to go, Ashe brought this all on herself.
Leaning against the passenger side door, staring at my nails, I waited for Mikey with the keys.
He came out of the bus, keys dangling from his index finger, and glided towards the car.
Bob took his time getting to his car.
He and Ray were going together.
As Mikey unlocked the doors, Bob got into his car.
I stared before sitting in the passenger seat.
I slouched down as he drove us to the hospital.
There was no purpose for me to go.
I looked out the window and became mezmerized by the surroundings passing by.
"You okay?" Mikey asked.
"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine."
We arrived at the hospital, parking next to Gerard's car.
Mikey got out and shut the door.
I didn't move.
He came around and opened the door for me.
"You coming?" he asked.
"In a few minutes. I'll be right in."
Bob pulled up next to our car and Ray hopped out.
He and Mikey walked in together, leaving Bob and I in separate cars.
At the same time, we both got out.
I stood infront of the license plate, he doing the same.
"What do we do now?" I said aloud.
"I don't know." He shrugged.
I tilted my head down, and asked, "What were you going to say on the bus?"
"Oh. That I-that I." He choked on his words.
"I've changed my mind. I don't think you should be with Mikey."
Bob looked as if he didn't mean for those specific thoughts to form a sentence.
"I know how you feel, and I know what your thoughts are," I told him.
"And I'm going to take a wild guess that yours aren't the same."
"I don't know. I'll admit it, a part of me wants you back. But I'm unsure of what the other part wants."
He didn't respond.
"I should head in. If I don't, I'm sure Mikey will come looking for me," I told him.
"i'll walk in with you."
