It's Never Gonna Be Too Late.

I Know They're Hiding Something.

Alex's POV.

I leaned my head against the bare, white wall.
I shut my eyes, hoping that Ashe would be out soon.
My legs were crossed at the knee and I shoved my hands in my pockets.
Mikey sat next to me, texting on his cell phone.
Gerard waited anxiously a few seats over.
After two hours or so, Frank and Ashe walked towards us.
Ashe clutched her stomach as she sat down.
Gerard shot up and asked Frank, "What's wrong? What was it?"
Frank looked at her, unsure, and said, "A simple stomach bug. She'll be okay."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, Gerard, we're sure. Just give her a few days and things'll be back to normal."
Gerard knelt down before Ashe who looked like she was in pain.
"You sure you're okay?" he asked.
She nodded, unable to form words.
He stood, unsatisfied, and reached for his keys.
I looked over at Mikey.
"Can we go?" I whispered.
"Yeah."
He put his phone in his back pocket and went to say something to Frank.
Frank nodded and Mikey waved me over.
Putting his arm around my waist, we left for the car.
Bob and Ray followed, leaving Frank, Ashe, and Gerard behind.
"I don't think it was a stomach bug," I spoke to the ground.
"What?" Mikey asked.
"Nothing, let's just go home. Well, to the bus."
I slumped in the front seat and thought.
Ashe didn't have a stomach bug.
She's pregnant, I can just sense it.
Gerard still has feelings for her.
Thoughts continuing to circle throughout my head, we got back to the bus.
I stepped out of the car and headed inside.
Looking out the window, Mikey and Ray began talking.
Bob parked his car, ignoring their conversation.
He walked onto the bus, making us the only two.
