It's Never Gonna Be Too Late.

Home Never Felt So Good.

Alex's POV.

Everyone had remained silent.
Unfortunately that silence broke once we were given the news Newark, New Jersey was only an hour away.
Everyone had leapt from their bunks and started gathering their things.
Ashe and I were the only two who didn't.
"Honey, will you help me for a sec?" Bob asked.
"Sure," I groaned and walked towards the other end of the bus.
I helped him gather a few articles of clothing and such.
I had turned and started walking to our bunk to put his things in one of his bags.
In doing that, I bumped into Mikey because of my carelessness and decision to not look where I was going.
"Mikey, I'm so sorry," I said to him.
"No, it's not your fault. I wasn't watching where I was going."
"Well, neither was I," I stated.
We shifted to the right trying to get of each other's way.
Then we both shifted left.
We continued until Mikey placed his hands on my shoulders and moved me to his opposite side.
I blushed and proceeded for the bunk.
I finished packing our stuff and relaxed.
Ashe stayed in her bunk, not moving or making a sound.
Gerard rarely stopped to acknowledge her existance.
He would continue with packing, along with the others.
Bob then came over, making me stand up to greet him.
I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling the both of us onto the bunk.
We laughed and he kissed me.
I was lost in his icey, blue eyes.
I still had my arms wrapped around his neck.
I looked beyond him and saw Mikey had been staring from his bunk across from us the entire time.
Don't ask me why, but for some reason I felt guilty.
I couldn't look at Mikey again for the rest of the ride home.
We all got excited when we saw the sign for Newark.
Finally we had reached home.
The bus came to a halt, making it shake a little.
The door opened, everyone gathered their last minute things, and proceeded out the door.
I inhaled fresh air, as did everyone else.
It hadn't smelled so good.
Ashe was the last off the bus, hanging her head down once again.
Everyone said their good-bye's and a few of us hugged.
The last person I hugged away was Mikey.
I think our hug lasted longer than it should have.
When we parted, I went back to Bob's side.
Both of us waved once more and left for the car.
Once we had put everything away and sat in the driver and passenger seats, we spoke.
"It feels so good to be home," I said.
"Yeah, it really does," Bob said back, kissing me once again.
Atleast I would have to worry about Mikey for a month.
