Forever and Always

Analeigh’s POV

I groaned as I felt the bed shift under me, opening my eyes I winced slightly when I got the flash of the sun but I looked around quickly, letting my eyes adjust, as I looked for the source of what woke me up.

Looking towards the door I saw Paul walking, light footed, out of it. I frowned confused but ignored it for the moment and turned around to go back to sleep.

It was only a few minutes later when someone came barging into the room talking loudly
“ok Paul, I know you had a date last night and all but you have to get up man” they came over and jumped on the bed causing me to be thrown from it onto the floor with a yelp and a loud thump.

I heard the person curse
“oh shit!” before they jumped back off the bed and knelt next to me concerned “crap, are you ok Analeigh?” they asked worried, I groaned and opened my eyes to see Jacob knelt there. I glared up at him and asked cross
“do I look like Paul?” Jacob grinned sheepishly
“to be honest I’m half asleep myself and didn’t notice” I nodded and went to get up but Paul rushed into the room and stopped dead when he saw me on the floor. He looked at me confused
“what happened?” he asked and I thumbed Jacob
“this nutter jumped on the bed, catapulting me out of it” Paul looked at Jacob and narrowed his eyes, glaring at him. I noticed him start to shake slightly out of anger and knew what that would lead to, apparently Jacob did too as he backed up slightly.

I got to my feet and walked over to Paul as I rubbed an eye, battling down a yawn. I walked right up to him and wrapped my arms around his waist, burying my face in his chest mumbling
“morning Paul” I felt his shaking lessen as he reached up and wrapped his arms around my slightly frame and hug me to him. He leant down and pressed a kiss to the top of my head
“morning honey” I then felt him rub my back as he spoke to Jacob “why did come in here to wake me up anyway?”
“Sam said he needs someone to swap for Jared today since it’s his anniversary or something, he said that because you went on a date last night, you could do it” I felt Paul’s chest rumble as he groaned, it made me smile slightly
“that’s just wrong, how did he know I wouldn’t be... busy” I frowned and squeezed him slightly making let out a chuckle and kiss the top of my head again
“I think Sam managed to figure out that Analeigh isn’t like that, now you have about an hour before you have to patrol ok?” I felt Paul nod then Jacob move past us to exit the room.

Paul pulled me away from him slightly and smiled down at me
“hey there” he said and I grinned
“hey Paul, I guess you have to drop me home” Paul frowned
“yeah I guess I do, wanna have some breakfast first though?” I nodded and let go of him to grab my jacket which I wrapped around me before following him out the door and down the stairs.

Entering the kitchen I saw Jacob scarffing down food while Billy sipped on coffee. Billy smiled at me from his chair
“I didn’t know you were here?” he remarked and I saw the unasked question in his eyes which made me want to blush slightly but I didn’t.
“it was late when the date finished and I just wanted to sleep so Paul brought me here, I fell right asleep as soon as my face hit the pillow” Billy chuckled before motioning to the stove
“well there’s bacon and pancakes there if you want them” I nodded my thanks before letting Paul go over and grab me some food.

Once we had eaten Paul took me home.

Standing at the door I smiled up at him
“we should do that again soon” I told him, he grinned
“oh yeah and it will be the second date too” he hinted, I giggled and nodded
“yes it will” I replied, he leaned down and kissed my cheek before turning and walking off, I watched him go. He turned back once and waved before disappearing into the trees.

Entering the house I knew Mom wouldn’t be there because of the amount of work it was taking to set up the medical facilities which she had to over look.

Walking up stairs, I felt like I was in a dream world. Everything was going great I had Paul my best friend and now soul mate for life with me along with my best girl friend that was slowly getting over a heart break she had held on to for so long.

I grinned as I stripped off my clothes and climbed into the shower, humming happily to myself as I thought over the date last night.

I loved that Paul knew me enough to know that I wouldn’t want to go somewhere fancy with him, that I didn’t need lots of money spent on me or anything. I liked that it was just him, me and the stars there right along with the ocean.

I grinned though a frown appeared slightly as I remembered that when he phased into a wolf, all the other guys who are in wolf form will see what happened last night. I then shrugged to myself knowing that if any of them say or do anything Paul will rip them apart. The thought made me giggle as I climbed out of the shower and dried off before going into my room and changing into some warm clothes (http://www.polyvore.com/analeigh_casual_24/set?id=17194802). I skipped down the stairs and looked around, biting my lip.

What could I do today? I thought to myself. I glanced at the door and saw my skates near them. Grinning to myself I pulled out my cell and dialled Leah’s number.

She answered after a couple of rings
“hello?” she asked in a slightly groggy tone, I winced
“oh sorry Leah, did I wake you up?” I asked apologetically, I heard Leah chuckle lightly
“yeah you kinda did” she replied, I bit my lip frowning
“sorry, I’ll let you go to sleep” I went to hang up but she stopped me
“wait a minute, why did you call?” I sighed
“well I called to ask if you want to go skating with me but if you’re exhausted I understand if you can’t” I hastened to say, I heard her snort
“exhausted? I’m not a wimp plus I haven’t been skating with you in years, I missed it, I’ll be ready in like half an hour but you can come round and wait for me if you want, raid the fridge while I shower” I giggled and nodded to myself
“ok, I’ll be there soon” we hung up on each other.

I walked to the door and pulled on my skates then picked up a pair of flats to leave at Leah’s in case I end up there or need them.

Once I had them on I laced them up then grinned as I made my way out of the house, locking up, then skated down the streets to Leah’s house.
