Forever and Always

Paul’s POV

After the day at the beach I took Ana home and she made some food while we talked some more, she told me some stuff about her life in Cali and admitted that she was like me and didn’t do relationships which kind of made me sad but then I thought about how she would do a relationship with me, I would find a way plus the pull of an imprint would mean that it is inevitable.

I left before her Mom got home and headed straight to Sam and Emily’s where I had to talk to Sam about the situation, I needed advice.

I walked through their door and found them both seated in the sitting room cuddled up together just watching TV, I wanted that for me and Analeigh. Sam turned and looked at me, Emily smiled then looked back at the TV
“what’s up Paul?” he asked and I sighed as I moved to sit on an armchair. I fiddled with my thumbs a little before I looked at him and asked
“what do I tell Analeigh?” Sam raised a brow
“tell her? Is she your imprint?” I nodded and Sam whistled “well isn’t that a twist of fate, your kid crush turns into your soul mate” I chuckled realising how perfect it was
“yeah it’s definitely fate, so what do I tell her?” Sam shrugged
“you can tell her everything, she’s your imprint so you can” I nodded
“yeah but when do I tell her?”
“When you feel like it” I groaned and slumped in the chair
“I can’t just tell her, this is Analeigh! I know her and she will freak out about this” Emily joined in, looking over at me she frowned
“really? I thought she was pretty laid back personally, maybe she changed since you knew her?” I thought it over then shrugged
“maybe but I mean when we were younger she freaked about finding out that unicorns didn’t exist” they both snorted and I grinned at the memory. Sam shook his head and sitting forwards slightly he looked me in the eye and said
“tell her when you’re ready or when the time is right but I suggest you do it soon, she isn’t stupid and she will figure it out, you could tell she didn’t believe me about the whole unofficial ranger type thing” I nodded, I knew she hadn’t
“I know” I rubbed a hand over my jaw “it’s just hard, I mean I’ve known her for so long and now I have to tell her she is my soul mate” Sam nodded then grinned
“you know we were all wondering why you were acting like that towards her, all careful and nice” I snorted
“I’m always nice, you guys just aren’t worth my effort on” Sam laughed then motioned towards the door
“alright your welcome ran out, go home and figure out when to tell her” I nodded then got up and hugged Emily before I walked out and headed for Jacob’s place.

I reached home and walked through the door to find myself face to face with a smirking Jacob. I raised a brow and moved past him asking
“what?” he let me pass but followed me as I made my way into the sitting room where Billy was sitting watching a football game
“you and Analeigh, you imprinted on her didn’t you?” I turned and raised my brow higher
“what makes you think that?” I asked and he rolled his eyes
“I don’t know maybe it was the way you were looking at her or maybe the way you were acting, after you left the guys took bets, so did I” I groaned and mumbled
“Sam didn’t tell me that” then I flopped into a chair and nodded “yeah I did imprint on her” Jacob whooped then fell into a chair as well. Billy looked over slightly shocked
“you imprinted?” I nodded and he whistled then grinned
“congratulations, maybe there will be peace in this house without dumb girls wandering in and out” I rolled my eyes
“it wasn’t that bad” both of them snorted then and I sunk down in my chair
“does Analeigh know how much of a horn dog you are or were?” Billy asked and I nodded
“yeah I told her and she told me that she was in Cali as well” Jacob chuckled
“it’s a match made in heaven then” I glared at him then growled. Jacob held his hands up in defence and I groaned then stood up
“I’m going to bed” they nodded though Jacob quipped
“you gonna dream about her?” I didn’t reply but as I walked past I slapped him around the back of the head and the sound of laughter followed me up the stairs.

I lay on my bed staring up at the ceiling and smiled. I could picture her in my head and her scent was fixed in my nose, I loved the play of light on her skin as we were on the beach and the feel of her in my arms, the almost kiss that could have actually been one if the guys hadn’t interrupted. It was so close but I knew that it wouldn’t be the last time it happened, I knew it would happen a lot, the guys interrupting as they always did but I would have that kiss, it was gonna happen no matter what and I wouldn’t stop trying until it did but then I hoping that after the first, the rest will come more easily.

I fell asleep with a grin on my face as images of Analeigh drifted through my mind then I slipped into a dream world in which Analeigh and I were together in a house full of little rug rats that looked like us and acted like us, Analeigh and I holding each other close with grins on our faces and love in our eyes.
