My Heart Beats Only For You

Gerard’s POV

These girls are seriously like no other girls we’ve met before. Okay yeah the girls that run the school are all preppy bitches and anyone not like them are out casted, but what the hell, these girls are badass! The cute thing is; I think the guys like them! I walked alongside Frank taking a hold of his hand as Ray, Bob, and Mikey comfort the now calm group of girls.

“Gee Bear, do you think they will be alright?” Frank asked looking me in the eyes.

“Like Anita said, all we can do is keep them in our prayers and hope. I really hope those kids get better, but until then I think our guys are doing a great job taking these girls’ minds off the accident, look.” I pointed to Ray who had his arm draped on the shoulders of Sabrena. She was smiling shyly up to him and laughing at whatever it was he was telling her.

“Wow, well that’s how we roll!” Frank says smiling. “Let’s go hang out with the rest of them.”

“Alright, come on,” I said pulling him up to the group.

“You play bass?! That’s so cool! I’ve been trying to get my friend to teach me guitar or bass, but he’s too busy with his band so he won’t help,” Anita said to Mikey with a sad look.

“Ah don’t get all down! If you want one of us could help you, Frank is an amazing guitarist! You think you could help Frankie?!”

“Uh, sure yeah I guess I could.”

“AWESOME! Oh hey here’s my car, so who’s going with me?” 5 hands shoot up in the air as Anita opens her brand new candy apple red BMW. “Whoa, well I brought the BMW so there’s only enough for 3 or 4, How about 2 of you go with Gerard and Frank?”

“Yeah, Ray and Sabrena can come with us!” Frank yells out, I can see in his eyes he’s trying to be Cupid. “Yeah Gee?”

“Cool with me, Ray? Sabrena?” They nod their heads and walk off towards my car still talking off in their own little world. “So Anita, Bob will have to go get those fags and alcohol, but after just meet us at the park, cool?”

“Alright no problem,” She said with a smile before turning to my brother. “Mikey want to be in the front with me? I think our friends are a little, uh, flirtatious for lack of a better word, and would rather be together.”

“Uh, yeah it looks like they are flirtatious. I’d love to sit in the front with you, uh bye Gee, see you later.” He says winking to me.

“What happened to Alicia?” I mouthed to him. He shrugged and mouthed back.

“She’s hot! AND SMART!!!” I chuckled and waved bye pulling Frank along by his waist.

“Mikey is getting it on with that girl isn’t he?”

“Oh you know Mikey, but I trust these girls. They aren’t all hands on and airheads like Sam, Anita is someone Mikey needs right now, even if they don’t work out very well, though I think they will.” Frank nods his head with a smile and kisses me softly. “What was that for?”

“What? Can’t your amazing boyfriend kiss you for no reason? Plus, you look worried about Mikey.”

“Yeah, just a little, but your kisses always help.” I smiled down to him and kiss him softly. We walk back to the car smiling and see a shocking sight; Ray is in the backseat making out with Sabrena. I knocked on the window and they jump apart and look at us embarrassed. We get settled in the car and drive towards the park.



“And that’s how she ending up being our ‘pimp’,” Anita closes taking a drag of her fag. We arrived at the park while the band was still setting up so we all decided to hang around Anita’s car to drink and smoke.

“Dude, Coach is going to kill us if she knows we were drinking!” Stephanie says swaying a little into Bob’s lap.

“Let her find out, who is she to tell us what we can do!” Anita says.

“Yeah, but after what just happened to the girls? Anita you’re driving and you could kill us if you crash, plus; Do you really want a lecture on ‘Good Choices’?”

“Coach can suck on one! I’m only a little buzzed and the concert won’t even be over until later tonight, I’ll be fine,” she says holding out the ‘i’. She leaned inside her car and turned up the volume blasting ‘The Misfits’.

“You guys listen to The Misfits!? Where the hell have you guys been during school?! You guys are seriously the coolest girls we have ever met and you’ve been hiding out!” I yelled having an attack.

“We haven’t been hiding anywhere! We’re outcasts so where do we sit? With the outcasts!”

“We’re outcast!”

“You’re Gerard Way for crying out loud, were you not hearing me when I said girls talk non-stop about you?” Just then a rather high looking guy with a black beanie walks up to our group.

“ANITA! You came Buddy!”

“Uh yeah Andrew, these are our newest friends. Gerard, Frank, Mikey, and Bob. You already know Stephanie and Sabrena,” Anita said getting up sheepishly then hugging the guy.

“Hi! You all come out to see our band?”

“Yeah, a friend of mine is the Vocals,” Ray says shaking the guy’s hand.

“Dalyne? Oh yeah she’s so awesome, one of the coolest Lesbians I know, amazing voice too! To bad she’s not bisexual or else I’d be trying to get some,” he says with a wink. Anita frowns and takes a nothing long drag. “HEY! Anita’s smoking? Since when?!”

“Uh, for a while now, should I not be?” Anita asks ready to put the fag out.

“Anita you know I’m cool with it! I’m just upset that you won’t smoke with me, but you will with random guys you just meet,” the guy says frowning and looking truthfully hurt. Is this guy like her boyfriend or something? He sure seems possessive of her and she’s not helping any to prove me wrong.

“NO Andrew! It’s not that! I always smoke, but nothing more than fags here and there, I already told you I can’t get too high or my coach will be upset! Come on Buddy I’m sorry!” She quickly explains before throwing herself into his arms. Didn’t she just tell her coach to suck one? He laughs lightly and sits her beside Mikey again.

“Okay Buddy I believe you, but I have to go perform so sit here with your new friends and enjoy the shows, our Vocalist is badass to the core!!” He kisses Anita on the cheek, waves quickly to us, and takes off in a short jog.

“Someone has their Bitch trained,” Stephanie says nudging Anita.

“Shut up! I’m not his Bitch!”

“Sure looked like you were a minute ago,” I said before thinking. She frowned and just shrugged her shoulders.

“He’s my best guy friend, he’s also a huge man whore, but no matter what he does I can’t help but do as he tells me. I feel bad if I lie to him or upset him in any way, though I highly doubt he’d notice since all he notices is other girls in their sluty outfits, I’ll only be the ‘Best Friend’ forever.”

“What you need is a boyfriend, a cute, smart, tall, SOPHOMORE boyfriend!!!” Stephanie says in a sing song voice eyeing Mikey. Anita blushes and shoves Stephanie a little causing them to both fall forward because of the tipsiness.

“Fuck you! Pretty sure that’s up to the tall, cute, smart Sophomore because I sure as hell am NOT putting myself out there just to be hurt, remember what happened with Brooks?”

“She speaks the forbidden name!” Sabrena gasps. I was honestly curious, seeing my little brother was that tall, cute, smart sophomore.

“Who’s Brooks?” I ask as the three girls gasp then giggle.

“He’s just an ex asshole, I mean boyfriend, but he was an asshole. He cheated on my 2 weeks into the relationship. He was my first and only boyfriend and I’m now classified as ‘easy’ because he tried to take my virginity and everyone THINKS he succeeded, which he didn’t. Anyways I’m done with guys, I’d say I’m going gay, buuuuuuut Stephanie refuses to help me on that one.”

“Hey, Schlagel likes dick way too much to help! And before you guys say anything NO I’m not a whore, just sound like one.”

“So no more guys at all?” Mikey speaks up with a smirk.

“Well for some guys I’d make an exception, but they’d better be pretty damn worth it,” Anita says leaning into my brother.

“Oh I am.” Mikey leans into kiss her, but at that moment the band starts playing and startles them enough to bump heads. They laugh it off and Anita gets up dragging Mikey to his feet so he could dance with her. Okay so the Ways don’t dance, but just about now I’m sure Mikey didn’t care. He was swaying along with Anita who had this huge grin on her face that just screamed ‘FUCK YEAH!’

I look around and seen Frank had fallen asleep on my lap. I brushed his hair out of his face and kissed his pink little nose. He wiggled it slightly then looked up at me with a smile.

“What, that's all I get? I want a real kiss from my man!” I take hold of his face and kiss his jaw, the corner of his mouth, his nose, each cheek, then finally his lips. Frank pulled away first and looked at me with his little smirk. “You sure are a tease Mr. Way.”

“You love it.”

“Yeah, I do.” I pulled him up and we swayed along to the music alongside my brother and Anita. I think we just made some great new friends and it’s wonderful that their coach called and let them know their team mates were fine and they could go see them tomorrow.
