I never believed it.
I never thought she would actually
curl up and
die
like that

I loved her.
When she kissed me I could fly
But she was drowning
and I never even noticed

I tricked you, huh?
You actually believed
that this story was about my girlfriend?
It's not

There was a flu
Epidemic.
That word seems so
overly dramatic
Doesn't it?
It broke out
two weeks
after Tearsten took a blade
and ended everything

They said the vaccine would
fix everything
My mother, short and skinny
overbearing loving, and true
Injected it into my arm
In our big kitchen.
It really hurt
And that's where our problems all
Started.

Two weeks later
I woke up in the morning
And opened my eyes

The world was black
