Bill's tears eventually dried. This woman had not returned his brother. Bill had grown worried. Having no clue what time it was he had to guess Tom had been gone at least an hour. His screaming had stopped a few moments ago. He heard the door open and those damn heels coming his way. She knelt in front of him and attempted to move a stray piece of hair from his face. Quickly Bill turned his head and dodged her touch. This angered her deeply. Causing her to slap him, hard.
"Now. Since you are our newest house mate, I have prepared a feast of sorts. You try anything and I mean anything, I will kill your brother in front of you. And you will be the new object of my...Obsession." She uncuffed him and dragged him with her. Once upstairs she plopped him down in a seat and shackled his feet in. He tried moving them but immediately felt the tiny razors. Bill stopped and watched her walk into the kitchen. Once out of sight, he looked at Tom.
Tom's head hung low as he sat shirtless. No doubt his legs were shackled as well. Blood was all over his arms and chest. But not his face. Odd. Bill could see burn marks on his chest, old and new alike. He couldn't help but feel new tears brim his eyes.
"Tom...Tom..." Bill said just above a whisper. Tom slowly picked his head up. Bill's heart broke at the sight of him. Before he could say anything she came back into the room. The smell of food was overwhelming. She placed plates and silverware down for them. She brought out a salad first and served them.
"Mistress Ravyn, may I have the Ranch salad dressing please?" Tom's voice was harsh and raspy.
"Of course Tomi! Let me go get it. And for you Bill?" Man she had to be bipolar.
"I'll have the same thank you...Mistress Ravyn." He almost choked on his words. She clapped and squealed.
"He's learning fast Tomi! Just like you!" She smiled again walking into the kitchen.
"Bill...Swallow your pride to stay alive." Tom's voice rasped. His look was stern. Soon she was back.
"Here we are boys. Ranch for the both of you. The main course is almost done. I made Eggplant Parmigiana. Grandma's recipe."
"I can't wait to have some Mistress Ravyn." Bill felt horrible for what Tom had been reduced too. And the fact he could barely speak.
"Mmm I know how much you like my cooking Tomi. Eat up boys. You must be famished." She giggled. Bill couldn't believe she could just talk about things so easily, after all she had done to them. Tom mostly. "So Bill. Tell me. Do you like my salad?"
"Yes Mistress Ravyn." Tom gave him a small smile.
"Good! Wait til you get the Eggplant Parmigiana!" She smiled big. "Bill tell me about yourself. I've already gotten to know our Tomi here." Their Tomi?
"Uhm well. What would you like to know exactly Mistress Ravyn?" Bill tried to be as polite as his mouth would let him.
"What was it like touring? I've got Tom's view. I want yours..." A timer could be heard in the kitchen. "...After I get the main course!" Quickly she hurried off into the kitchen.
"Good job Bill. I;m proud of you. Keep this up and you'll get it easy."
"Easy?!" He was about to explode. "Was meinst du 'einfach'? Haben sie gesehen, selbst in letzter zeit? Wir müssen wir die Hölle aus hier! Jetzt!"
"Shut up! Du wirst in eine welt der schaden wenn sie nicht verwenden Englisch zu bekommen!" Tom seethed. He was not going to let Bill get himself hurt. He didn't care about himself, but he sure as hell wouldn't let anything happen to Bill.
"Boys...For the last time...WHAT DID I SAY ABOUT GERMAN?!" Her voice was loud and livid. Suddenly it went all black for the brothers.
