A Fictional Detective Story

The Narrator, a mysterious entity apparently unhappy with his current existence, attempts to describe himself in a different way. The way he chooses is through the tale of a nameless detective with relationship issues trying to find a missing writer set to be married. While trying to find the famous groom-to-be, he also struggles with his relationship with his girlfriend, a woman he has loved since his childhood. As he matures through the case, the detective's girlfriend and his perception of reality changes, eventually bringing to the solving the case, and the truth he must come to terms with.
