Missing Eternity

Part I: Danny
I still remember the last time I saw him.
Danny my best friend in the world,
Danny Whose "body" was found To destroyed to really Identify.
That isn't enough to put me to rest not after what I saw.
Enough to make me feel like Maybe I'm just going mad.
If I told anyone they'd probably think so.

Danny Ignored by most every one else, for not being up to par with Their "High Standards" of handsome,
as if that counted for anything.
"Nerd, Stupid, ugly, fatty,
A million things they called me.
Danny understood He'd heard it all before,
not fatty of course the boy was way too gawky for his own good
Freshman year Me still an overweight little kid.
I found him when I was running away from the other kids taunts.
I was crying,
he just sat their asking me what was wrong "everything" was all I'd say,
He made a stupid excuse when the bell rang to stay there with me

After that I just kept coming back
when everything started being to much to handle
He made me laugh, and made me feel worth something
My Best Friend In The World

I wasn't so surprised when he kissed me
Embarrassed
and a little scared at what it could do to our friendship
I avoided him the rest of the day
I can't even tell you in a million years how much I regretted it that night
And Almost an eternity
