Missing Eternity

Part XVII: Nostalgia
I clicked on my light
closed my blinds
and began to change out of my school clothes
I ran my fingers over the thin scar on my shoulder
It wasn't deep
a scratch from a tree branch
it should be gone by now
but it refused to heal
just like memories
though those cut deeper

d@mn the nightmres would be bad tonight
a few pale tears fall down my face
I shook myself
hair falling in my face
red and white
"You can't afford to lose it, you have to grow up"
I shrugged my shirt over my head

"mom knocked on the door
"Come on we're having dinner together'
