Part XXXVII: Emeline Wile

She looked in her early thirties
definitely older than her twenties
but not in a bad way
she didn't have the beginning signs of becoming an old lady
It was something in the look of her face

the way she held herself
she seemed wiser calmer
and carrying more worries than a twenty year old could.
Long waves of black caressed her beautiful face
making Laurel feel like a preteen wearing cheap makeup
beside a queen.

Her skin was soft ivory
And it became apparent were Dustin
who's skin look like a cross of
albino and mega albino
his mother being the mega albino
had gotten his skin tone from
She had an enchanting voice to match her pretty face.
"Hello Laurel my name is Emeline, it's nice to finally meet you."
and she sounded like it to
good to know someone in that family wasn't an @-hole.
"Hello,'

I shook her cool hand
My mother made motions for me to come and sit next to her but I ignored it
And stood by the stairs
"So what brings you to Hope Mrs. wile?'
My dad said in his rather high voice
I swear my mom was actually a man and dad was actually a woman
just put in the wrong gender rolls

"My husbands work actually, I'm sorry he couldn't be here tonight but he works nights."
"It must be hard on your family,"
My mom simpered.
trying to sound sympathetic.
Michael laughed quietly
and Dustin was trying not to smile
like it was some secret joke
"Actually it fits us just fine."
