Actors seem to think that they are the only ones who can fake emotions. Happy, sad, angry, in love.
And yet, Kayleigh Jacobson has been faking a smile her entire life.
For the sake of her parent's life. For the sake of her boyfriend's life. For the sake of her own.
Hiding sadness, abuse, pain, scars.
As she reaches her teen years, she inconspicuously drops hints that's she's suffering.
And no one ever notices.
Finally, at seventeen years old she realizes the only way for her to be released from the pain, for her family and her boyfriend to know her pain and be safe, is to take drastic measures.
Then the pieces start to fall together for everybody else.
